I/C abortion is probably referring to an intra-cervical abortion. The I/C has to do with the method of anesthesia. I/C is a local anesthesia in that the patient is awake. I/C usually refers to giving fentanyl (an opiod pain medication) into the cervix (rather than as a para-cervical block) to provide pain relief during an abortion.
