I lost my hair to chemotherapy. I don’t wear the wig because it hangs wrong, and I think it makes me look like a man with a woman’s wig. I was always jeans and T-shirt. I loved those clothes because you can do just anything in them.
Having no hair just makes you want to do something to make yourself look more ‘girlie’ – you somehow feel your feminine side had been stolen away and you want it back. Now I wear either skirt and blouse, or if going for a walk on a good day, jeans and blouse, I wear a lot more makeup, and have had my ears pierced
I went to see my father yesterday, he hasn't been to see me since I have been ill, so I had to make the effort. He flew off the handle. War paint, earrings, short skirt (it is actually below the knee) - Sarah, you look like a f**king common sl*t.
I've spent the last 2 night crying my eyes out. I have virtually no sleep for 2 days. I can cope emotionally with the cancer, but not this.

Am I a weak person or would anyone be like a nervous wreck?

AIDS, or cancer.

I do not know anyone who has cancer, or AIDS. I know of ONE person who died from colon cancer at age 31, but i did not know her before she died.

Is this rare? You hear about these 2 diseases all the time, and how many people are dying from them, but, I live in a pretty big town, know lots of people, and this has not affected my life in any way (except to be safe).

I know I could go SEE someone with these diseases, but I don't know (nor want to) anyone personally with any type of fatal diseases. (my mom does have Chrons......).

im 22, shes 48 and i've been living away from home for 3 years, my brother is leaving for college at the end of the summer and i've been thinking a lot about moving back in with her to take care of her during her treatments.

do you think this would make her happy or feel like a burden?

..I dont want her to be alone during this if she has it. i would also be moving away from my serious, live-in boyfriend (hopefully he doent make too big of a deal out of it due to the situation)..i just dont want her to feel like she's wrecking my life because im on the verge of starting my adult life..should i even bring it up to her and if so how?

I am a perfectionist, must touch everything, and freak out if something isnt like, right. Freaking out includes twitching, and like getting worried over nothing, its really weird.

I am looking for homemade masks...i've heard natural ingredients are a whole lot better for your skin...i have oily/combination skin...and some small red pimples...or some sites...i know certain ingredients are for specific skin types and do certain things to their skin, so if you know about any masks or sites that are according to skin type...all your info will be greatly appreciated!

I've had them since my early 30's and spider veins too. I feel like an old lady in a 37 yr old body. I'm so ashamed to be seen in shorts. Even capris wouldn't make me feel good because the spider veins are all over my feet too. It's getting hot now and everyone else is enjoying summer but me because all I wear is pants.

I recently found our my right ureter was completely blocked. I do not know how long it has been completely blocked but I have had pain there for about three years. I had a stent in for two weeks and it was removed last Wednesday. I had been to four different doctors the last three years and they said it was probably a nerve off of my back since I have deteriorating disk disease. (I didn't have insurance, so they didn't care to find out the problem) Well, I had my son on the eleventh so I got my O.B. to check it out and he found my kidney was blown up and my ureter completley blocked. We don't know if my kidney will start back working or not. Anyway, my question is has anyone gone through this or know anyone who has? I just wanted to know too, what amount of time does it take to cause complete kidney failure to where it will not ever work again? Know any web sites I can look at that I may have missed somewhere? Any help will be appreciated.
