Recently, but very occasionally, i have been feeling like something is stuck in my throat or that something is going up my throat, but nothing was there. While that happens, my chest really hurts-is it heartburn? I just almost threw up a minute ago, it was in my mouth and everything. I was bending down to plug something in, and i guess i burped, but i started to vomit. It never left my mouth, but shortly after, my mouth started watering like i was going to barf again. Does this have anything to do with acid reflux, and does it sound like i even have it?

My mom has acid reflux, and doctors thought my sister did also, but they were wrong. My dad doesn't have it.

My doctor noticed a "thickening" in both of my breasts last week. She sent me for an ultrasound right away. Today her office called me and she wants me to come in Tuesday morning re the ultrasound.
Now I'm freaking out. When I was 28 I was diagnosed with skin cancer-everyone told me its nothing, that I'm too young to have cancer. They were wrong. I'm only 30...and there is no history of breast cancer in my family. How do I stay positive about this?

The only ones I know are luekemia and lymphoma and also brain tumors, but I don't knw the REAL names... as you know these are just abbreviations. If you could list a few, it would be greatly be appreciated.

Also, if you can, do you think you can list some symptoms and things about it?

Im a 63 yr. old married grandmother and raise dogs.I started having trouble with my blood ressure a little over 2 mos. ago. aat first it was running way high,like237/117 and they started me out on lopresser 100 mg. 1 a day, then went to 2 a day and was still very high so they added 2 linsopril 20. mg. a day, and that didnt work so they sent me to a heart Dr. and he added Bec\ncar 40 mg. 1 q day and then clondine 1 mg.2 aday and laxix 40 mg. 1 q day and klor 1 Qq day and then the bottom started dropping out after it was good for a while and now Im having to go to E.R. ror low pressure as it gets down to 80/40 and pulse in 40s. They cant find anything that is causing this. All my tests are fine except my chloestrol is a little high.My heart,throid and everthing else is checking out fine.They have taken me off of Linsopril, and clondin except for emergenccies,and I dont take my P.M. meds if my pressure is to low. Im at my wits end and dont know what to do.Help

I have have extensive blood tests and am still unwell.

6 weeks ago - tests were Thyroid, Liver Function, Kidney Function, Glandular Fever test, Full Blood Count, Blood Cultures.

2 weeks ago - tests were Complete Blood Count, Liver function, kidney function, rheumatic fever, glandular fever, diabetes, thyroid and blood cultures. Also Chest X-Ray. (due to tachycardia)

1 day ago - Full Blood Count and Thyroid.
Results have all been normal! Yet I am unwell. I still have a cough and runny nose yet my white cells were perfect. I am experiencing thinning of the skin/transparency, varicose looking veins in mouth and feet, fungal infection in my toenails and toe, muscle pains, twitching, blood shot eyes,Tachycardia and pallor. I am experiencing excessive wind (burping all day), struggling to eat. Tried to eat and choked on my food due to throat irritation.

If there was something really bad wrong, would it show in the above tests?

What do all above tests check for?

I just got over a cold, and it always feels like there's a piece of phlegm sliding up and down my throat... I can "swallow" it but it just comes right back up again. So gross. And I can't cough it up either. What can I do? Water won't "flush" it down either, I guess because it's in the tube that goes to my lung... Please help!

Can you live a pretty norml life? When I take my thyroid it rebs my body up that I am nervous and can't sleep even on a low dose I know the difference. I have fought with taking Synthroid for years & years and they have never been able to regulate it. My thyroid is low so I have to take thyroid. Yes, I am tired and achey when I don't take anything but I feel better that way than rived up to where I can't sleep and my eyeballs and nerves are on edge. My Mom had the same problem and she just finally refused to treat it. HELP!

I had a mammogram done last Friday. I was called this week and asked to come back for another Mamo and an ultrasound. A large area was found and now they want to biopsy this coming Wednesday...I've pretty much been told to expect Cancer...Still laying on the table, it finally sunk in...I cried a lot and worried about the plans I'm going to screw up for my husband this summer. I haven't told him anything yet. My youngest son graduates from college in 3 weeks. I won't make any surgical arrangments before then. My husband already has the plane tickets for Vegas. He wants to celebrate his 60th out there this year, the end of June(we go a couple of times a year) ....can anyone tell me what to expect if this biopsy comes back positive...how soon do I have to schedule any type of surgery? The radiologist is already talking possible chemo and radiation...I'm so mind numb right now...can anyone help me with some info?

started with shortness of breathe 2-3 weeks ago like i felt tightness in my chest at times and when i would breathe in it was shallow my heart racing and palpitations heart rate has been as low as 64 and as high as very little over 100 at rest it constantly varies.so i wound up in the er cause i i had all of this plus i felt like i was going to pass out turned out i was dehydrated and my blood sugar was a little high im not diabetic everytime after that it was normal and my potassium was low so i was admitted into the hospital they did a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy only found some gastritis i was discharged but i was still having the breathing and heart rate problem and for about a week ive been having chest pains went to the er like 3 times since i was discharged and nothing came up in blood,urine,chest xray they did ekg each time and yesterday i had an echocardiogram everything was said to be fine..but yet i still feel all of this... read additional details since im out of space

What is the best way to deal with kidney failure? Specifically, the loss of ability to do all I used to do, and the loss of a paycheck. It's a slow down-hill slide so far but now the weakness has gotten much worse and I am looking at starting dialysis soon. I'm trying to keep the spirit up, even though I see changes in me.

I have Long QT Syndrome and need to know if I can take Prilosec OTC. Are there any other antacids I can take? I know I can take Pepcid AC, but it does nothing. My doctor used to prescribe Prevacid, which worked great, but UHC won’t cover it any longer. My acid reflux is so bad I will be going to the emergency room if I don’t get some relief soon.

In the last 3 days have had the urge to urinate constantly. When I go barely anything comes out. I feel like I have to go constantly but I don't. I just got interested in this guy, im 18 and hes 27(soon to be 28) i like him alot so far. more than any guy in years. i really feel that he may be the one.

he told me yesterday that he has herpes. he found out when he was 24 ish and he never had an outbreak or anything. he was really upset and was cryin cause he had to tell me. he was worried cause im still young and if i would mind being in a relationship with someone who has it. and if we ever did do anything, he wouldnt want to give it to me.

i said it doesnt matter to me, cause i sex isnt on my mind right now. i was researching on it alot and i really dont know what to think. i told hm to get checked cause if its been 4 years and its still nothing, then get checked again.

any opinions or info for me?
