I can't find a generic in The us, but it is offered in canadian rx sites. Is it a legit drug they are offering?

I saw that there is something called Arip MT from Torrent Pharmaceuticals which is supposedly the generic Abilify. I spoke to my pharmacist and there is NO generic form available in the US because, she said, 'It's still pretty new' (approved 5 years ago). I have no idea why it seems to be available in other countries. My pharmacist said she knows nothing about other countries having it. I don't order meds from international sites just because I don't trust them 100%. Fortunately, my insurance covers the total cost of Abilify for me so I don't have to pay the $400/month for it.

I have no idea if they are offering a legit drug. If my pharmacist didn't know about it, I wouldn't take the chance. It's possible a psychiatrist may know more about it though...?

that is not true. when a new drug comes out, they are covered for up to 7 years, meaning that no other company can make the drug in generic form. for example, until a few years ago nexium was in the 7 year period, since that time is up you can get something like protonix. just depends on what drug. you could get them cheaper, but canada does not get "first" dibs on generic drugs.
