Do you have any muscle weakness like the feeling of "jello legs".? What is your heart rate while moving around does it go up? When I was 18 I started having periodic muscle weakness and the DR found nothing. Over the the years it increased until 7 yrs ago I had my son. My Heart rate woud be as low as 80 and as high as 200. short ness of breathe my legs would ollapse under neathe me. I would get weak all over and just drop. I seen over 15 drs. of all specialties and they told me it wasn't this and that and i had every test known to man. Some said it was all in my mind some gave me many ideas, but no diagnosis. 15 yrs later I find out I have Narcolepsy and it cause alot of wierd symptoms all wich I have. But I did not tell my doctors about my dreams and insomnia and exhaustion BECAUSE one doctor told me that was not important. Start a journal...NOW!!!!!!!!! Every day write what you feel, how you slept, any pains, numbness, etc. Write it all down. Do not go through 15 yrs of searching because 1 dr. told you something was not important. Also write down every test and its results and the names of DR's. and their phone numbers. Nothing is not important.
having a HR of 100 is not that bad can function lifting 200 lb patients at my job with a HR of 130 even though that is not normal Everyone feels different at different HR . And just because your potassium was normal does not mean that wasnt the problem take it from me.my K. can be low normal, but I am effected by it. Next time you have an attack try drinking a tall glass of Milk and see if you feel any better...the K. in milk does me wonders.
Most of all don't give up and if you keep feeling bad keep at it. Just because your HR is up doesn't mean you need a cardiologist...try a neurologist as well...your brain may be doing it...like mine with Narcolepsy. The brain effects all aspects of your body and I don't mean you are crazy...you may hav a neuromuscular or neuro disorder like mine. They can help. Best wishes and it you wanna talk more write me at paintergal73@yahoo.com.

You didn't say if you were on any medications, but some can cause these symptoms. If you are on any medications, talk to your doctor about alternatives. If you are not, then your symptoms do sound like possible anxiety attacks.
Do not think that they are simply discounting your problems by diagnosing anxiety. It can be a serious problem. If nothing else, you are obviously anxious about your symptoms.
Keep your cardiologist appointment and go back to the ER if you have any more shortness of breath or chest pains.

Do you drink a lot of coffee or caffeinated soda? Caffeine can definitely have some of the effects you are describing. If you don't consume a lot of these beverages, it is very possible you are having anxiety problems. Talk to your regular doctor about this, rather than relying on the ER doctors to make a diagnosis, and possibly give you medication to control your symptoms. Good luck - I know this must be very scary for you.

You would be amazed at how gastric issues can affect the body. Go online, google a symptoms checker and go from there. That pain in your chest could very well be acid reflux! No joke!! Sounds silly, but it's possible. Good luck!! (I'm 22 and have had similar issues, so I know!)

Try so exercises. Not strenuous--just some walking and make it a little more each time. Build those muscles up. If nothing is showing up, then try to strengthen yourself. Don't know what to tell you.

it could be asthma related and anxiety.....you believing its something really wrong will make your body think that too and maybe thats why you still have those symptoms......but in asthma your breath come short alot, heavy chest, hard to run, and at times your heart will race....i kno this for i have asthma....in my oppinion.......its both see if asthma could have anything to do with your symptoms.......
