My husband is type 2 and he is only 45 years old and they have him on so many meds for his condition. I am afraid he is going to wind up dying from overmedication like his grandmother did. She was also type 2 and on too many meds and her heart just gave out one day. I feel that the doctor is just dosing him because of the pharmaceutical companies give them a kickback prescribing these drugs. Serious answers only please.

This happens sometimes after two years and some times after five years. I had an accident 25 years ago. When I came out of the car I felt a sharp pain in my left arm as if the arm was broken. However I did not have any physical wounds. I had this sensation recently after 7 year lasting about 3 seconds.

my condition first started in my feet/ankle area. and later on, there were probably just one or two on my legs (below knee cap and above the ankles). then, they started to appear on my arms near the bicep/tricep area and now they're appearing on my shoulders and back. they're red, pimple like, and theyre not itchy. i went to the doctor and he said it must be my skin allergic to something. so he prescribed me 2 things: tiamcinolone acetonide cream .1% 80g and loratadine usp, 10mg antihistamine. i've been on these things for like 2 weeks and i dunno if they're working. do you guys have any clue what condition i may be having? thanks.

I have noticed in the Cosopt website (http://www.cosopt.com), that
they are producing 10 ml of Cosopt fluids in bottles instead of the
usual 5 ml, which it was mentioned that they are discontinuing the 5 ml bottles. When will they start distributing the 10 ml bottles in
pharmacies?
The pharmacy I go to (Walgreens) still have the 5 ml Cosopt
bottles, since I use the medication prescriped by my eye doctor.....so that's why I was wondering.
Thanks to anyone who can answer, in advance. :)

IF YOU HAVE BEEN WHAT DID YOU DO TO HELP IT AND WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THIS DISEASE

I asked this a little while ago, but I think that I was not clear enough. I just saw a documentary about World Health Organization doctors treating an ebola epidemic in Africa. After the first wave of infection and death, there were a few infected villagers who pulled thru and recovered. When there was a smaller secondary outbreak, some of the doctors did transfusions from the survivors to the new cases. And all the transfusion receipients survived. Why can't this technique be used to cure any disease, as long as their is one person who has overcome it?
I am not refering to a full blood replacement, but rather the normal transfusion of a few pints from the disease survivor to the currently infected. And I am not asking if this would be a good panacea technique, but rather if it could work for some infectious diseases that we have no better treatments for.

Only other symptoms are breathing difficulities & intermittent chest pain in thorax (mid-chest, in between breast area) region. Normal systolic range is 98-115, but is now 146-150 consistently, with different gauges/monitors. Increase was all-of-a-sudden, not a gradual rise over time.

Pulmonary Function Test recently completed but no results yet. Tech did tell me my expiration readings were bad, but did not improve after nebulizer.

I would like to make a test, just so that I know. I don't think that I have it as I have been careful, most of the times, and that's the reason..."most of the times" not "every time".
I am very scared of results... and the waiting time.
I know it is the right thing to do, I just can't take the mental strain.

Hi. I have a friend who has, on two occassions, coughed up blood. She is not bulemic or anorexic, and as far as she knows, is healthy. She has no other symptoms or pain, but this is the 2nd time that it has happened. She also tells me that it is more than a few teaspoons when she does cough it up. We're in college, and the Medical Services Office is closed today. It opens tomorrow at 8 AM. Should she just wait until tomorrow morning, or should we go to the emergency room? I don't want anythingto happen to her.

Confirmed by mammogram and U/S. Externally Isoechoic in heterogeneously dense breasts. It has partially defined/obsured microlobulated margins. Internal echostructure is homogeneous and hypoechoic relative to adipose tissue. It's 9mm and in the anterior region of the right breast at 12 0'clock position. I had a hysterectomy at age 25. My mother had ovarian cancer at age 26. I also have been tested for the "cancer gene" and do have it. I am 33 years old with 4 children. Have had a 15 pound weight loss this month (135 down to 120). I have had vague symptoms of cancer for 3 years now and have been treated for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome for years. Can all of these things still add up to be nothing? HELP!!!!!
