my condition first started in my feet/ankle area. and later on, there were probably just one or two on my legs (below knee cap and above the ankles). then, they started to appear on my arms near the bicep/tricep area and now they're appearing on my shoulders and back. they're red, pimple like, and theyre not itchy. i went to the doctor and he said it must be my skin allergic to something. so he prescribed me 2 things: tiamcinolone acetonide cream .1% 80g and loratadine usp, 10mg antihistamine. i've been on these things for like 2 weeks and i dunno if they're working. do you guys have any clue what condition i may be having? thanks.

Bedbugs?

My guess would be bedbugs. Apparently they're making a comeback... Take a look in the cracks and crevicies of your bed, or at the back of your headboard... if you see little black marks that's a sign you could have bed bugs. If you don't think they're bite marks then try changing your laundry detergent and getting a special impenatrable matress cover (doesn't let dustmites through)... Best wishes to you!

My husband and I had similar symptoms. It turned out to be a scabie-like bug and we have no idea where we got them. We kept infecting each other. They burrow under the skin and bite and travel, bite and travel, bite and travel, so you'd have a little trail of bites under the skin. I think it took more than one doctor to come up with the solution. It was the more expensive medicine, for scabie-like symptoms, that cleared them up. My husband really had them bad!
Good luck! Hope you get a knowledgeable doctor!!

Check your animals for fleas.
Throw out any loofa, or scrubby sponges you may be using on your skin.
Wash your clothes and sheets.
If neither of these works, you might have something a little worse than bites, like scabies, which you can call your doc for a prescription to alleve.

Do you suffer from asthma? If so there is a condition that is directly related that causes little red bumps to appear on the skin and is treated with Rx medication. Good luck, if it is not cleared up I would go and see another doctor. (dermatologist)

It might be sand fleas. You can get them just by being outside. I use to get them as a kid. If they stay with you they will get into your bed and bite you in other places too.

It does sound like you are allergic to something. Try to figure out what it could be. Have you changed clothes detergent, body soap, shampoo, or lotion lately? Have you gotton a new pet?
