Hi
I had this problem in the past, after miscarriage.
heart doctor said my heart was fine..diagnosis
sinus tachycardia.
mine was up to 160 bpm.
I was going through alot of stress at the time.
weird thing worked for me though..prayer.
I never was religious, but when it happened I just prayed and it went away instantly..
maybe anxiety was the reason..still dont know.
I still get irregular heartrates when hot, tire or understess..but they last only about 10 minutes,
not 3 hours like before, also I dont get shakes with it.
seperating from my controling muslim husband helped too..lol

170 is pretty fast. Maybe you should seek a 2nd opinion

Exercise more, when you exercise it works your hearts and after a while you'll build it up and it won't be so easy to ghet your heart rate up

You should consult your physician about having a cardiac stress test done. This should not be left unattended !
