People with Marfan's syndrome often have a very high arched palate, which may explain some of the drooling. I'd take him to your family doctor and ask them to send some mouth swabs to the lab to look for thrush and get some treatment for it (eg nystatin pastilles or various syrups). A good diet is also important, as is teeth brushing and general oral hygiene.

Without knowing your son, it's difficult to comment specifically. However I would suggest:

If it is oral thrush, then the doctor can treat it, with medication.

You could suggest more frequent cleaning of teeth, using a mouth wash and maybe providing mints for your son to suck on during the day.

It may be a longer term medical condition, which your doctor will be able to run tests to find out the cause.

Buy him some tic-tacs? They work great for masking my dog breath....lol. If it is oral thrush, I'm sure you can get medication from your gp or a chemist. Hope you find a solution. Good luck!
