My last chemo was May 9th and last radiation was June 30th. Since then I find food makes me sick, I can't stand the smell, I can't stand the taste and I'm actually forcing myself to eat something. I'm relying on boost to make it through. Is this normal and how long should this go on. Also my hair hasn't started growing back. Any idea how long that will take.

I've been living with diabetes for over 30 years. I am terrible at checking blood sugars, eating regularly, avoiding alcohol... I get a little depressed when I think about my disease. Haven't been to my endocrinologist since 2003 - avoid it at all costs. Any advice from other diabetics?

\i know of a person who has had a lucky escape whilst driving with a passenger who stopped the car with no injury to anyone due to an epilectic fit. They are still driving !- the police were called - but can anyone tell me who reports this ?it seems the responsibility is with the epileptic to report this, but if they choose not to, this seems so bad.

me and my parents have the same family doctor, i went to him to get a physical about a month ago b/c my psychiartist needed it for me. when he got the blood test done i came back having anemia. strange thing i've been taking iron medication b/c i had the anemia. so everytime after that i've actually had to get bloodwork done 3 times and it came back the same. the last timemy parents went over there was last week and he said he need to examine me and ask me a few questions. my last pd was late, and my next one is due on 8/26 and i haven't seen any signs of it when i usually see signs a week in advance. i've had unprotected sex, using the withdrawal method, the doctor doesn't know that part yet, however he wants to send me in for a sonogram? what exactly is the connection between the anemia and him wanting to send me for a sonogram? is it bc he suspects pregnancy?? serious anwers plis, oh and i have to see him this saturday i already took 1 prego test and it was neg about a month ago

My husband has a job where he is constantly walking, walking... for 8 hours a day. He gets bad chafing in his inner thigh area, that is very painful. He has tried baby powders, corn starch powders, even diaper rash ointments. These do help healing the rash areas, but we need some suggestions for prevention while walking so much. Any ideas out there? Thanks!!

replace old ones with the fiberglass exposed. She gets splinters from the fiberglass on her hands and arms from handling these trays. It causes a rash that is uncomfortable and embarassing. She's a server in the food industry so it can't be healthy for her or her customers. Other employees have the same problem and they've all complained to management who says there's nothing wrong with the trays, the rashes are not their problem, thus they refuse to replace them. Anybody have any suggestions on where this can be reported? Please don't offer "quit the job". These employees are all students trying to make a living while getting an education. They deserve to be treated better on the job. Can OSHA help in a situation like this?

My friend jared has Sacoma cancer throughout his body and Im taking up donations to buy him an xbox 360. The tyoe of cancer that he has is not effected by chemo treatment, so the doctors are
telling the family to brace for the worst, just trying to give him something to take his mind off of what is going on.. please if you can spare anything it will help, I will be compililing a list of names with donation amounts and pictures when we give it to him.. and I can email them back to you.. and for some of you, think about how you didnt donate when you step into your 70,000 dollar AMG mercedes, since we all know it will probably be the people that really can't afford it that are going to come through on this one.. just the way the world works I guess, you don't get or stay rich by giving money away, at least that's what I've been told so far.. Thanks, Matt Calicott.. you can email me at calinova22@yahoo.com or call me on my cell 817 721 5691 thanks again

Each year, a staggering 440,000 people die in the US from tobacco use. Nearly 1 of every 5 deaths is related to smoking. Cigarettes kill more Americans than alcohol, car accidents, suicide, AIDS, homicide, and illegal drugs combined.

Actually the husband that time took her to a doctor who treated them both and the doctor told my sister that it was some disease which she got through using towels at the public swiming pool. She only became aware of that disease a few days back. Now she knows that it was urethritis and a person can not be infected merely by using a towel in a public place.
