If you have the $, facial scarring caused by various skin conditions can be reduced by about 85-90% with microdermabrasion. A lot of people think it's abrasive or drying, or can make skin problems even worse, but if you find a moisturizer that works well with your skin type, microdermabrasion works WONDERS. Skin types vary, so I can only swear by my own treatments that I've tried on my skin.

My aunt had facial scarring from eczema and acne, and she had several sessions of microdermabrasion done and her face looks better than most women in their early 20's. I can't tell she had any trauma to her face at all. The downfall is microdermabrasion runs right at $100 per session. Not many folks can foot that kind of bill, especially when you have to keep it up regularly to see results.

Another solution are home treatments that are somewhat the equivalent to microdermabrasion. I can't afford those professional treatments, but I had it done once and the technician told me a fine-grain face polisher can render similar results, you just have to be consistent with it. Keeping up truly healthy skin can be high maintenance to begin with, let alone problem skin that needs extra care.

What I do:
I buy the medicated St. Ives facial scrub. It runs about $3 per bottle. You can buy it at almost any drug store, grocery store or major supercenter. I gently massage my face 4 times per week for 10 minutes per session. My face is healthy, supple, it glows and I never have problem with acne or eczema. I use a few small drops of Clinique unscented moisturizer on my face to replenish the moisture the scrubbing takes out.

I started having minor acne problems onset at age 17; 11 years ago. I've been doing this regimen for this long and my skin hasn't changed much at all over all this time.

There is more than one way to do so:

1. Use cover up to cover the scars daily
2. Use a cream that causes scars to look less intense
3. get plastic surgery

Gosh, I used to have eczema really bad and the only thing that made the aftermath look a tad bit better is cocoa butter. I still have dark colored spots in certain areas and they haven't gone anywhere at all. If you find out another answer please let me know.

the best thing you can use is vitamin E oil! It works i had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my face and shoulder. Right after i got burned my mother and grandmother got some aloe vera plant and vitamin E oil and after about 3 or 4 months i don't have a scar at all!
