sister, began falling, was told by a doctor she has MS, but she has none of the symtoms of others in her group, ha benn told by healthcare providers, she should seen other answers, her present symtoms mimic exactly those of neuropathy.........

Hi. I've been having tingling ,stiffness and numbness in my fingers and toes. It all started with my left pinkie being partially numb and progressed to both my left and right hands, especially the left pinkie, left and right index and thumb fingers.
My family doctor diagnosed carpal tunnel. Yet, I was referred to a neurologist for confirmation. The neurologist detected some minimal carpal nerve damage in my right hand and compression of the left ulnar nerve at the elbow. However, according to this doctor, the damage is not enough to cause significant symptoms. Uh?
Then, I went to the hand specialist, as per the neurologist. After an x-ray and exam, he sees nothing wrong and sends me back to my family doctor and physical therapy. I'm now set for a battery of tests... I'm really scared that something is really wrong with me especially because now I'm getting a similar sensation on my left foot.
has anyone shared a similar experience? What was the outcome? Any advice is appreciated.

She has had this inflammation since Novemeber I guess, it's on the right side of her throat/neck. Its hard and she says she gets pain that travels through other places. She also said it hurts her on that side when she laughs.

She previously had cervical cancer two years ago.

I don't know what it could be, but I'm also not a Dr. However, I have an idea... a swollen lymph node, tonsilitis, swollen gland.... I really have no idea. If any of you could help me it would be great. And its not just like a circular bump in the throat or neck... its like 1/4 of the side of her throat right below her jawline to her ear is hardened.

Any help please.

My husband has been battling cancer for about 15 months now. At the last visit the doctor suggested we start considering 'end of life' care. He is already in quite a bit of pain. I think we will be calling a pain clinic next week.

Anyone have experience with someone dying of cancer. We are young---36 & 38 with three kids under age 12. How much pain can we expect? What is the end like?

I just cant imagine watching him gasp for breath or writhing in pain. That is more scarey than death to me....

I may have possibly contracted sifilis! I am worried about my results that will come back any day now. I am worried about getting sifilis. It is curable, but I don't wanna loose my fiance. I have been with my fiance over a year & we never had sex. I cheated and possibly contracted sifilis. Can he catch the std through kissing me (open-mouth)? I am worried about him. Is anyone on here taking the insulin Humalog Mix 75/25? If so, how many units do you take and is it working for you? I've been on it for about 6 months and my blood sugars are still to high. My HA1C was 8.5 yesterday. I am just wondering if anyone here has had success with this insulin.

I have a small rash near my left hip and a small lump in my lymph node near my groin. My rash dosn't hurt, it feels like a bug bit. The small lump in my groin, howerver, is tender to the touch. About four or five days after I found the bumps I got a seiously sick. Sever chills, heart palpatations, dizztness, and uncontrolable sweating, general acheness and my kidnies were sore. My doctor told me I had shingles, but my rash never hurt, it itched. I read up on Shingles, and my symptoms just don't seem to match. Do I have shingels or something else?

I get sharp pains on my left side of the chest area near my heart. I have been having the pain for about 2 years now. I’m 27 and in fairly good health. I don’t take any mediations and I walk a lot during the day. I had x-rays done and my doctor said everything looked fine, but the pain is still there. I had my cholesterol checked this last February and it showed my HDL was 70 HDL and my LDL was 204LDL. I was told that my cholesterol was not high enough to worry about but I wonder if I’m on the fast track for a stroke or heart attack or heat disease and that’s why I have these chest pains. Can anyone give me some ideas what might be causing this? Could it be asthma? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is this possible? I hear it is rare and that is has occured in SouthEast Asian countries. However my friend has told me she has contracted it and is being looked after by 3-4 doctors who are in shock. They have never seen this and already blisters in the mouth and tongue have started and she has been experiencing rashes. Tell me more if anyone knows more on this.

Sounds scary.
