There is no easy answer to this question... Although it is a difficult subject to discuss with someone, for her own piece of mind she should gain some kind of conermation. The easiest way would be to express her feelings for him before she asks the direct question... Ex: Hey Joe, can I talk to you... I really like you alot, and I want to be with you, but I heard a rumor that you might have herpes and its kindof scaring me a little... Herpes is a virus which causes legions to appear on the skin of the infected area, and it is only transmitable through direct contact with the sores. (or in the case of genital herpes through an infected individuals body secretions.) Cold sores and canker sores are both forms of herpes, yet contrary to mith are not caused by the same virus as genetal herpes.

By the time you get anymore answers from this site you're at risk to develop herpes or may have the virus in your system. Once it goes in it cannot come out. Once you get any virus you can become prone to getting HIV or HPV. If you are already dating and kissed him than yes, you have contacted the virus only if he has had a sore inside his mouth. Every one has a virus in their immune system. This is why some can rid it quicker while others don't. Like the old saying goes.."better safe than sorry" as for me I am in the same situation as you which I had a blind date and the guy never mention that he had a cold sore on his mouth. As he hugged me I started to worry. Of course, he made an excuse that it was something else. I didn't want to hear the excuses. Ok, but I hope his mouth didn't touch my hair nor skin. Ok, just a slight paranoid so if I am slightly paranoild than I can imagine what you're going through.
By this time, you should have gotten the test and if not, here's another suggestion but you can say you need to go to the Health Clinic and get your birth control pills and you need a ride. Ask him to drive you there and make sure he goes into the examining room with you but if he refuses than you GOT your answer that he has STD. Also, let the nurse or staff be aware that he has Herpes and maybe they can convince him to get tested right than and there. Good luck...if anyone reads this can someone answer this question but can you get Herpes by hugging or touching your outer skin with the sore like touching of the cheeks or kiss on the cheek?

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

Hello,
If she is dating him, then as a responsible young woman, she should tell him that if he wants to be her boyfriend, then they will both go to the nearest Department of Health--together--and both of them will agree to get tested for STD's and allow each of them to be present when the Doctors give each other the Results. Young women need to empower themselves and realize that their bodies belong to them, not their boyfriends. They must both get tested for HIV, Herpes Simplex 1 and 2, HPV (genital warts), Gonorrhea & Chlymydia, and all other sex diseases. She can call 411 and ask for the Department of Health, and they might test them both for free. If he refuses to get tested and starts making her feel bad by saying "I dont have anything, why dont you trust me", that means he doesn't respect her and he she should dump him.
Most important, tell your friend that she should NOT kiss that guy until after their test results come back clean. Herpes can be contracted by kissing. It can causes painful cold sores on her mouth, and she will have them for the rest of her life.
In my opinion, it makes more sense that people shouldnt have sex with anyone until they get married to someone who has been tested for HIV, and all STD's. There are too many diseases going around, and it doesnt make sense to get an STD that will last for the rest of your life for some relatonship that probably wont last.

Men aren’t “supposed” to seek out advice on how to get women or ask their friends how do I get a girl. We don’t sit around analyzing each other’s relationships. Still, picking up beautiful women is a skill that anyone can learn with enough time, practice, and access to the right resources. Read here https://tr.im/55pzy
There is a ton of stuff ( to help you get started. Sometimes the techniques go against “conventional wisdom” or what seems to work in movies and romance novels. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try them – they DO work and they are a huge advantage over the competition.

As an RN student, I had clinicals at an STD clinic. It is highly recommended that, before having sex with a new partner, you should both be tested. Take your friend to a doctor or clinic with the reasoning behind it as you're being safe and responsible.
