Hi,

I just responded to your other question, but I'll respond again...You need to be honest with your fiance, you must tell him if you have a positive STD result. You can not have a marriage based on lies. This is a major, major fact that your fiance must know about. Put it like this, if it were the other way around, and your fiance didn't tell you that he contracted syphillis--what would you think about him? ....Before he is your fiance, he should be your Best Friend, and friends tell each other the truth....And, aside from that, the most important thing you need to do is Take Care of Your Body. If syphilis is not treated, it will cause severe brain damage. You will need to get a series of powerful shots.

I'm going to be real with you--it doesn't sound like you are ready to be in a marriage. If someone is cheating and catching STD's, they aren't ready to be married. A marriage is a 100% commitment. I mean, the fact that you laid down and shared your body with another man and had unprotected sex, while claiming to love your fiance--shows a level of --I'm sorry--selfishness and immaturity. I think that right now, you need some time to think about your life and grow emotionally. Hon, God still loves you despite all your flaws and mistakes, so start with Him.

You have to tell him. If you don't he could get it and start having symptoms. Then he'll have NO reason to trust you ("You gave me this!!!").
If you have slept together already, he may already be carrying it silently (have the bacteria, but not the symptoms yet). If that is the case, after you are treated and he is not, he could give it back to you, and you could get treated again and then he will still have it and give it back to you, etc. etc.

He deserves to know and be treated if you think he could have it.

Love isn't being afraid of losing something, which is what you are.
Love means to think about what he would want and what would be the thing you would want if you were in his situation, etc. If you love him enough to be marrying him, don't you think you ought to be able to love him enough to be honest and open with him? So what kind of relationship do you want???

Syphilis is a bacterial infection that can be easily missed. The first symptom is a painless blister or sore that will disappear on its own. Syphilis can be treated with antibiotics. However, if left untreated, the disease can spread throughout your body over the course of many years and cause considerable organ damage.. hr has it to you need to tell him so he can be treated or he could give it back to you...

It is not fair to jeopardize your fiance's health just to keep it a secret that you cheated. Maybe this will be a lesson to you so that you will not cheat in the future.
