My Ebstein-bar is 4,300. Normal is below 100. My Dr. is not well adversed with this disease, but I have found many web-sites regarding it. I have a brother that is Arthritic, and a sister in-law that started out with fibro and now has MS. I am not able to work anymore and all of these pills are horrible. In one article by Robert Bennett which is head of the OHSU Reumatoid dept, unfortunatly just retired, has been using methadone 10mg. Two tabs one to two times a day. My brother says it really works for him and has now drowsy side effects like the others meds. Has anyone tried this medication? If so, has it worked for you. My quality of life is nothing anymore. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Linda

She has had abnormal Peps in the past but on her last pep, everything looked normal. I have not yet had sex with her and wonder if I should be concerned with this type of HPV.

Thanks

I had a "healer" tell me to try to eliminate sugar and highly processed foods from my diet, and increase my intake of magnesium. I feel somewhat better, but I'd like your thoughts.

If someone has a problem of eating a little too much (not a lot but a little over their limit) and end up vomitng afterwards (3-4 times a week) what type of ramifcations are there? This has nothing to do with weight loss!! I just got a limit to what I can't eat and even if I eat a bite more, it's over!

I overheard an arguement that there was another way to contract this very common STD. I know the HIV virus can survive outside the body for sometime under the right conditions. Is it the same for chlamydia?

I am SURE this got a lot people's attention!!
I am on oxygen 24/7. One of my oxygen people told me the best thing to use inside your nose (when it becomes dry from the oxygen) is KY jelly. Have you ever heard of that?

On the box it says DO NOT use in your eyes or ears. And then it goes into the sexual aspect which all of you were thinking. I know all of you were saying, "sex in the nose? This woman is clearly not right." I take that back, some of you WOULD say, O.K.!!!!!

SO, has anyone heard of this? I would like to try it. But I want to know someone else has first OR what do you use?

I am 24 years old and my doctor did simple blood work on me. I received my results to find out that my triglycerides are 463 (so high they couldn't determine my bad cholesterol) and my good cholesterol is 30. My physician told me that I need to have my cholesterol lowered to at least 200 by six weeks, but I am clueless as where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions?
