I have been a diabetic for over 30 years now. It is not the worse disease to have. I have always been in good shape. my a1c was 55 which is great, but for the past 6 years, weight loss has been an issue. My dr. tells me that being a diabetic this long on insulin (a protein) a side effect is the weight gain. Just make sure your mom's blood sugars are in control, she eats 5 meals a day, takes her medicine and exercises. The weight gain is normal once you start insulin. Her blood sugar levels are the most important. not the weight gain. tell her to talk to her dr. She will be fine. You need to be informed on everything... visit her dr. with her.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I must be the odd one out on losing weight with type two diabetes, I lost over 80 pounds before being diagnosed and have gained about 20 pounds back......my sugar levels are always high reguardless of what I eat, have done away with everything that I like, sticking to low carb and all that rot......also have high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and a heart murmer. Sixty years old and feel 80, but I'm not giving up the ship yet.

If her weight is increasing she is on too high a calorie diet and that may be why her blood sugars are not under control. Get a dietician to give you a diet of about 20cal/kilo and she will lose weight and solve the sugar problem. Go to the dietary department of nearest hospital.

Ask her doctor about Symlin or Byetta. There is a wealth of info on the web about it. Check it out
Contrary to what a someone said below, I am on insulin and I take Symlin. I have been on insulin for 27 years. THAT IS WHY I SAID, IF SOME PEOPLE WILL PAY ATTENTION, ASK HER DOCTOR!!!!
