I have had really good success with Requip. Also if I have Luminesta it helps me to sleep the whole night long. My doctor prescribes a pain killer (Percocet) for me and in worst occurrences I have to take one of those and if that doesn't help still I go out to our hot tub. I have a very long documented, with doctors, complaints with my legs and leg pain. I purchased a Hot Tub which actually helps when most things don't. I also wrote it off as a medical deduction on taxes because I had a prescription from the doctor. If you don't have a hot tub, and most don't try soaking them in a very hot tub of water along with the above recommendations.

I take Requip 1 mg at night and I sleep through the night without waking up. (average 7 hours) However, my restless legs begin around 5 or 6pm and as I do not want to go to sleep that early, I am in misery until bedtime, especially sitting down. I do not know the complete answer but Requip helps for 7 hours. Ask your doctor and good luck.

Have you asked your doc about Quinine Sulfate? Alot of people take that for restless legs....unless you're allergic to sulfas.

I am using relacore. It works for me. It took 2 weeks to figure-out the dosage. I also take warm baths. Heat seems to help. Good luck.
