His teeth are quite literally rotting out of his mouth....it hurts him a lot, but he doesn't have the credit to get to make payments at a dentists office. We have tried 1-800-dentists and they did not approve him...does anyone know of anywhere we can go to get him some help and get his teeth removed so he can get dentures or something? Please don't leave me bullshit answers....

I have Shingles, not Temporal arteritis, on my face. Lots of pain and now blisters coming. Can it be spread to other parts of the body with a washcloth, etc. or does it only travel nerve paths? Also, can children get chicken pox after having the shot to prevent it? yanksgirl

Multiple systems are begiinning to fail. He has dysphagia and has already had one pneumonia bout. He is verging on CHF and has atrial fibrillation. He has difficulty walking and dressing himself is quite problematic. Short term memory is shot (NONE)

He is at home (I'm the son and caretaker) and seemingly happy. There is the occasional agitation when he is aware of mental deficit. He spends most of his time dosing, napping or outright sleeping. The rate of failure is alarming. Two years ago he was in charge and mostly effective and capable. He is now not competent for anything..

So, is he happy? How do I tell? If he is happy, then I should do all in medical power to keep him around. If not, then not. These are not questions that I've ever dealt with before, so I need help. Thank you for that help.

I have had anemia for a long time, and my docs have always just told me to take iron supplements. However, there has never been a significant increase in my hemaglobin/hemacrit levels; there have been slight increases, but nothing that is permanent. Additionally, my RBCs are slightly microcytic. I am religious about taking my iron supplements, and I take them with orange juice. I am concerned because I am tired, I have trouble concentrating, I have chest pain occasionally that is really bad when I take a deep breath, my skin is pale, when I get sick I have trouble fighting it off, I get dizzy often, I get cold easily, and basically I am just tired of being sick and tired. My doc is a tool and he doesn't listen to me, so I am seeing another doctor soon, but I am concerned because my son is also anemic, so I want to make sure I know what I have so that I can help him.

remember when cling film first came out, we used to put it in the microwave but then we found that it was the wrong type and was canceragenic so they manufactured a microwave safe cling film.

Well they need to do the same for all areas where plastic, nylon, polythene etc gets hot.
There is alot of cancer in this world but there is an awful lot more plastic.

Doctors discovered that I have a blood clot in my right index finger, restricting blood flow to the tip. They have prescribed viagra to open up the arteries and create more blood flow to the finger.

My question is, any other women on Viagra? Should I be embarrased? lol

My b/f and I have been seeing each other since last July and have been having unprotected sex since, until we went to get tested in February of this year. We didn't find out our results until April and his came out to be positive. His 1st reaction was that he was tested 2 times before and had not been sexually active with anyone prior to me, which was 2 years ago. My results were negative. He was told that he was in stage 1 of the virus, which could only mean he recently caught it. Last August, he had to get his wisdom teeth pulled because it was infected. 9 months of unprotected sex with someone HIV positive, the other person should be HIV positive also. How can I not be after all that time? He did a home test kit and results came back positive again. What can we do because as far as we know, I should have it. But I been tested 3 times now and I am still negative. Please help. Desperate for answers.
