Have you used or bin around any harsh cleaning chemicals? Bathroom cleaners? Bleach? They can all cause what you are describing

For God's sake don't try coffee! If you're having chest pain from a heart issue coffee will only make a bad situation worse!! If the pain or pressure lasts more than a few minutes, you find yourself short of breath, feeling sweaty or clammy, pain in the right arm or any of the above, go to the ER for goodness' sake. Better safe than sorry. And it can happen to the young - I was diagnosed with a heart conditon when I was 20!

I felt that way in January but I have emphysema, I went to emergency and it turned out to be a severe case of Pleurisy which is a swelling in the lung lining, it is very painful and you feel the tightening and the breathing becomes shallow or it did for me. If this continues you need to seek medical assistance don't fool around could be Phenomia
Take Care and don't let this escalate.

Hello. I have the last week found difficult in breathing and tight chest. I went to my doctor and he gave me an inhaler but I still have the symptom. The doctor has referred me to have a chest x-ray. You may want to do the same.

In the meantime I would delay exercise. Try to stay indoors with air condion or air clener. Avoid smoke. I bought some liquid oxygen from a health food store but have only used it one day.

Let me know if you find any solutions. Thanks.

That sounds like asthma--go and see your doctor. If it happens before you can get into the doctor, *and its mild*, try a cup of coffee. If that doesn't help at all, or if it feels more serious, head to the hospital--asthma can be life threatening.

See a health professional. Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant, (PA). Only then will you have a qualified answer.

Heart problems aren't respectors of age. In extreme cases, kids as young as 9 have had them. Since you used to have trouble with your lungs, you might do well to get it checked out.

Good luck!
