Please help us, my husband has had serious constipation, even bleeding from the bowel when he passes stools. He can tolerate a whole lot of pain and so rarley goes to the doctor or takes drugs. When he does, we know it has to be serious. Last week he came out of the bathroom, and went back in with a wooden broom, he came out with blood all over it, crying, and asking for a doctor. The next day we went to the doctor, and the stupid asshole "pardon the pun", just told my hubby to drink more water and come back in a month. He drinks plenty of water, almost 3 liters a day. Even I dont drink that and I dont get constipated. The doctors just refuse to send him to hospital or even give him any laxitave for short term releif. My hubby is not the kind to take medication long term anyway, perfering to get to the sorce of the problem. Please give serious answers only, my hubby is in a lot of pain and we need answers quickly to get him some releif.

Okay, I KNOW that smoking cigs is disgusting.. you can't GO anywhere and light up; it makes me smell terrible and I'm getting those smokers lines on my top lip... Why am I having such a hard time quitting? I am allergic to latex and adhesives so can't use the patch, have metal jaw joints so can't chew the gum.. refuse to take the "crazy" pills since I have so many allergies to drugs.. any ideas, anyone? Go ahead and berate me.. I prolly deserve it!@

Ok, I went to the Indianapolis 500 almost 2 weeks ago. During that weekend, my girlfriend(who was a virgin) and I had teasing sex, where I barely put myself in her, and then pulled out,on 5/26 or 5/27. I noticed a small red bump on my shaft.
I've never had any red bumps ever. Then after the race on 5/28, we went to a hotel that night & had full intercourse. Then the day after on Monday, there were more bumps. Why? I've never had any type of STI. I'm going to set up an appointment soon. After intercourse I sometimes wash my "unit" with soap from the sink& wipe off with a tissue. Also she was shaved but a little brissle, which when without condom, hurt to tease her "muffin". The little red bumps only show up more after anything sexual. When I shower though, its not noticeable, ugh! I don't know what to do, please help!

Do you try over the counter meds to medicate yourself such as Asprin or Tylenol. What is the reason you aren't seeing a doctor?

I am staying with family in foreign coultry for two months. i am sharing the house with two cats, which is giving me the worst allergic reaction to cats i have had yet. I am sneezing 30 times at a time, have a runny, watery nose, general stuffiness in my head, and worst of all, a tight weezy chest, which i found very difficult to sleep with.

I am looking to alleviate these symptoms, especially the wheeziness, using over the counter drugs.

i know about all the cleaning cats, hoovering, washing hands etc. but it is not helping as this is a small house and the cats have free reign everywhere, which i cannot change.

help!!

Hello, just wondering if anyone could help. I found what looked like a roundworm after i had a shower (kind of like a beansprout curled up (sorry about the detail)). Im pretty sure i caught this off of my cat. On top of this, for the past month and a half i've been dizzy (like drunkeness) and been getting headaches at the top of my nose and my forehead, especially when exercising. Also, for a short period my asthma got worse and then recovered. Im basically wondering whether this could be in anyway related to what i suspect to be worms.

By the way, i have been to the doctors, but her knowledge wasnt exactly inspirational - she prescribed me mebendazole - but she had to look that up in a book!

Thanks in advance

Chris

I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, a hair loss disease, when I was just in early third grade. It would be great to know someone else who goes through the same things as me. It's hard being bald and going around in school and public.

Is there another alternative to immunization shots? I hear there is some kind of a pill that when taken regularly builds up resistance but I don't know its name or how effective it really is.

My step son has continued to soil his pants with his feces since he was 4 years old. He only did it here and there at 4 but by 7 he did it all the time. He lives with his birth mom who won't do anything except make excuses for him. He hides it from us, he has no problem eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner w/ feces in his pants. Has no problem going to sleep with feces in his pants. Does it at school, does it at baseball games. Acts like he doesn't care. We have done it all: from punishing him normal, to yelling, to time out from ps2, bikes, DVDs, TV, etc. We have purchased the big kid diapers and make him wear them. We have been to psychologist, gastrologist, etc. They tell us he is highly constipated and just needs extra bathroom time. He tells us he is too busy playing and just waits too long. He once pooped his pants at a wedding sitting right beside me rather than telling us he had to go to the bathroom. Please help, PLEASE....we don't know what else to try!!!!
