Exercise & not sitting down for long periods of time. Get up every 30 minutes & walk around. Diet low in salt.

Varicose veins are veins that have lost their valves due to too much pressure within them. To minimize this pressure you need to stay active so the valves in your veins won't have to do too much work. This will prevent further varicosities. Getting rid of existing ones often requires treatment with a laser. Ask your doctor if you are interested in this treatment.
