I was told I have irreglar heartbeat by my doctor but he didn't seem to make a big deal about it. I have bad anxiety which causes my heart to race when i feel im going to have an attack. Anyone know anything about this? anything i should wory about?

irregular heartbeat is something my mother in law has lived with all her life and she is 94 years old now. My mother suffers the same thing... she is 55 years old. Your doctor is a professional. I believe it is safe to trust his judgement on the matter

It is nothing to worry about, especially if your doctor wasn't concerned. I have an irregular heartbeat. I am 26 years old and completely healthy. I went in to get mine checked out. They did an EKG, ultrasound of my heart, and made me wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours. All of it came back normal, with the exception of the irregular heartbeat. They told me a great many people have an arrythmia. If you are very worried, go get things double checked to make yourself feel better, but lots of people have irregular heartbeats and it is no big deal.

No theres nothing to worry about my brothers a doctor he says usually when people are in panic mode there sympathetic sytem gets stimulated it goes back to normal once you calm down. Now did he put you on any antidepressants or have you ever had a EKG or stress test done?

Yeah. I am really surprised your doctor wasnt worried, I'd go make an appt. in the next 2 weeks for a cardiologist. But dont get that worried.... :)

if ur doctor says not to worry and if ur stressed about something that can cause ur heart to beat alittle different mine does when i have a panic attacks the doctor told me i was fine i was stressed about something so ur fine go back to the doctor if this continues
