I was just prescribed Topamax for preventive migraine treatment and was wondering if anyone knew if you can still take abortive medications (like Maxalt) with the Topamax, or does it have a negative reaction together? What do you do if you get a migraine while on the Topamax?

I recently took a job working as an instructor at a school for adults who have autism and/or mental retardation. They offer the vaccine for free and recommend getting it, but I'm concerned about side effects. Has anyone had an adverse reaction?

I've already lost 6 pounds from not being able to eat a lot. I heard it is still an issue to eat after it is out....will I lose weight? I'm not that overweight, just about 20 pounds, but I carry it well.

I have been dealing with hemorrhoids for over a year, on and off. Recently I went back to my gastroenterologist, who gave me a prescription, which worked! Unfortunately, quite a few weeks later, they're back. I have been really trying to aim for 20-25 grams of fiber a day, I should probably exercise and drink more water...but anyways...to make a long story short, my doctor said if they came back that I should call and she would refer me to a colorectal surgeon. Im wondering, would it be better if i just treated the hemorrhoids myself (sitz bath, back on my diet, exercise more water etc) or should I bite the bullet and get the surgery? It would not be normal surgery, I would have to go to a specialist because of where they are located. I am just worried if i have the surgery, they may come back...i just want to get rid of them. I'm 22 for god sakes! I shouldnt have to deal with this *sigh* help me please!

I know this sounds weird, but I'm due for surgery next Monday to have it removed lapriscopically. It's been really bad for the last 3 years and was wondering if there is a chance it could burst before I got there? What are the symptoms so I'll know.

I broke out in eczema in February. Doctor prescribed corticosteroids. The eczema is going away but now there are white patches (hypopigmentation). Do these eventually go away?

What are your opinions on the fact that Magic's count is so low he basically has no signs of the HIV virus anymore? He credits this to eating healthy and exercise. Do you think that information may be helpful in the battle against AIDS and finding a cure? I think its amazing!

i went on a 30 mile bike ride on yesterday, i had put factor 40 sunburn on me but towards the end of the day my top part of my arms and the bottom of one of my legs. its really painful and is really bright bright red!!! i cant move my arms or put weight on my leg!! i also feel like im going to faint sometimes and have to sit down. does anybody know any thing that could help me in anyway or any advice what so ever?

My friend had one sexual partner and had sex with him last night (which she regrets) and had unprotected sex, she would like to get an AIDS test done but what are the questions the Doctor may ask and what do they do? we are currently working to housebreak our dog and today while I was in the kitchen, my dog pooped in the living room next to my 11 month old son and he grabbed the poop and put some in his mouth before I had turned to see what had happened! The dog had a clean bill of health last time we were at the vet, but that was four or five months ago. Should my son be on antibiotics??...do I need to have my dog re tested for worms?
