You NEED to get in touch with your local American Cancer Society!

There are programs available to you such as:

I Can Cope, Look Good Feel Better, and Reach To Recovery

Most ACS offices keep a log of local support groups, as well.

I have listed the website fr the ACS as well as the 800 number. These are both completely free and might be able to get you on your way.

If you need more help, just email me and I will contact your local ACS for you!

I am the Team Development Chair for our Relay For Life and also think that is a great place for you and your family - as well as friends! It helped us so very much when my sister went through it (for 18 months). We buried her in August of last year. She is the epitome of the HOPE that IS Relay. The community that Relay provides for you to become a part of really helps to provide HOPE and to see that a cure for all cancers is out there!

Good luck!

Hi,
If you live in Delhi - you could contact Cansupport or the Indian Cancer society ( which is tied up with the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer and Research Institute ). Both the institutions are really very helpful in all aspects regarding cancer.

I would call your local health or cancer association to ask that question.
