Weve been together for 8 years, he was my first, he had 7 other partners before me, we got two kids and I am now finding out I got this STD!......Could it be possible he had it and gave it to me 8 years ago and we both did not know??

Most people don't have symptoms of Chlamydia, especially men. I would not worry--it is possible. You know your husband, so you will know the answer.

Chlamydia causes Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) and this makes women infertile. If chlamydia is untreated in a woman this will be the outcome. NO it can not lay dormant in a woman for 8 years, but it can in a man. Your sexual activity would have shown problems in you a lot sooner than 8 years if you had contracted chlamydia then.

Sure it could be possible that he had it and didn't know about it. I think that the next step for the both of you is to see your doc, and then get treated for this, asap.

it's possible. chlamydia is asymptomatic in men.

oh, and you have to cure him as well as you or he'll keep giving
it back to you.

yes.
men don't normally show any signs.
women can have it dorment for years and never have it 'outed'.
