My teenage daughter has just been diagnosed with it. I don't want to put her on hormone replacement therapy to bring on her periods (which occur about twice per year). We have extensive breast cancer in the family, and hormone therapy is frightening. Does anyone know of any natural remedies that are safe? Thank you.

If I go see a chiropractor for my clicky-hip, will I have to wear one of those hospital gowns or undress myself?

Thanks

I am new and willing to learn about alternative healing. When I quit drinking alcohol (and I was pretty bad off) 10 years ago, I was put on Prozac. My dosage has changed over the years, sometimes 20 mg, 40 mg. After experiencing how wonderful I felt after a 21 day juice fast in June/July...I have been thinking about quitting it. My beloved Akita dog had to be put down in July, so I was advised just to maintain for a few more months. I took a nice vacation to Boston in September and even though I had the Prozac with me, I never took any. I haven't taken any since then. I feel intense now. I will cry looking at Akita puppies on YouTube. I will laugh a lot a book which might have just gotten some big smiles a year ago. I like feeling my feelings again. Didn't realize how 'even-tempered' I was for those 10 years. But I am very tired. My mouth and tongue seem to be somewhat numb. Slight headache. More hungry. Sore muscles. Is this all withdrawal? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm a 45 yr old woman, I've had an emergency cesarian when younger..and have had 2 surgeries removing 4 tumors from my left breast. I'm trying to improve my health with diet and exercise, so that I won't get any more tumors. I'm disabled with Fibromyalgia. I want to know how to increase circulation to the areas I've had surgeries so that the nutrients I take will heal those areas. I am a member of a gym, so if there are specific machines that can help there, which ones are they? Also if there are any homeopathic or herbal or ayervedic medicines that can help? Please if you have the information needed let me know. Thank you!

Sometimes, I am shy. I don't ask many questions. About something so Personal. But, please help me with my Chakras. They seem to be "shaky". Yesterday, when I went to that fine Scottish restaurant called "MacDonalds", I almost lost one.

Lately (since I went back to school full-time in August 2006 to start a new career) I have felt anxious. I'm tense, nervous all the time, feel like I'm on edge, sometimes have trouble staying asleep, find it difficult to concentrate, always worried about something, etc. Is there a natural over the counter remedy I can take to help control my anxiety?

I had just posted a question about oil-pulling and braces. I didn't receive a real answer, only people telling me it didn't really work and that I was a sucker for believing it did.

I didn't ask "do you think this works?" I didn't say "I think this worked for me, please comment!" I asked a real question looking for someone who had tried this before. I was unable to find the information I was looking for on the internet, so I thought I'd come here in case anyone else knew the answer.

There is no need to be rude and comment when you don't have an answer. I see no point in that or what good it does other people. Especially in a forum called "alternative medicine".... shouldn't people reading a post there be a little more open-minded about what they are going to read?!?

The Doctors can't figure it out. It happened to my Grandmother as well (at 70). I wondered if the return of my period had anything to do (strange as it sounds) with my mini Italian Greyhound being in heat and sleeping in my bed. Her mensus blood got on the sheets for a few nights and it was quite messy. It got on me too. I washed everything, but still her hormones touched my skin for several days. So I might have had a dermal hormonal infusion from the dog. Does that sound plausible?
You do hear of women living under one roof getting their periods all at the same time. But does this apply to dogs as well?

I know why I have the pain; I just ran the mile in gym, and that always makes my back and the back of my legs hurt. I ran it yesterday, so I'm extra sore today.

Any sort of home remedy for this? It's too late to go and get medicene - and my mom doesn't want to go anywhere. I just need some relief so I can sleep tonight.
