i have just had a mad weekend and feel rubbish, im tired and drained. i have no energy for anything.....
what should i do today?

As bad as you feel, you have managed due to your "mad weekend" to increase the toxins in your system. You will get a lot of answers and probably many will include nutritional supplements, etc. Some may help.

Mainly, however, you need to increase your intake of water. My personal preference in this situation is distilled, and about 4 liters per day. Also increse your exercise. If you run try running, or get a bicycle and ride (statioanry will do fine) and increase your heart rate, sweat some, increase your endorphins, and release some toxins.

You will feel better when you are done.

sip some herbal tea or water
sit in a quiet corner, quieten your mind & concentrate on breathing in & out for about 10-15 minutes, you'll feel more centred &this help you stay in control of your body & mind..
then if you can go for a walk in a park or woods if possible ( i know is cold outside) walking in nature absorns begative energy & freshens you up..
watch something that will lift you, something light hearted & funny ( Friends does it for me! but anything you enjoy will do) & this will take your mind off yourself & will make you fel more positive..
another important thing, tell yourself positive things,like I feel wonderful &am full of life..if you say to yourself I feel awful that;s what you'll get, your thoguths create your reality..or as Shalespeare said: I think, therefore I am!

Do what refreshes you. It may be lie on the couch and watch DVDs. It may be go to the park and then to a pub. Soaking in a tub with a good book or spending time in your garden...

Our bodies know what we need and our minds know it too. What works for me doesn't work for you. Listen to yourself. And do what is right for you.

Keep your head down and cruise through the day.

Take some vigorous exercise to increase endorphin release and you will feel much better.

Have a warm bath, and chill out on the couch for the day with a good DVD!!!!!!!

Tell yourself that 'You are not going to spoil your present and future because of unpleasant past.'
Change your approach and attitude. Your world will change.
