herbal medicine is not homeopathy. Homeopathy is when you take a medicine, and dilute it down until it's pure water, then dilute it down some more with pure water, and supposedly the water "remembers" what the medicine looked like. Yeah. It works as well as it sounds. There are some other options, but it sounds like you might be heading towards carpal tunnel. You need to go to the doctor, and get on some anti-inflammatories. And yes, you might need to take a week off the computer, but that's better than 4 weeks due to surgery.... It might be a good idea to hire someone to help you by typing for you that week. You wouldn't make anywhere near as much as you'd have to pay them, too, but it's better than nothing! See the doctor quickly, ask about getting a steroid or a cortisone shot or something to take the pain and swelling down as quickly as you can. Then, spend a few days hunting for an ergonomic keyboard, one with keys that are easy to press and slanted. Mess with your chair height and such to find the correct angle that keeps your wrist/arm/hand in a perfectly straight line, which causes less tension. Good luck. Hope the few days of rest and some major anti-inflammatories work. Both are going to be a better choice than herbal remedies. Keep your hands above your head when you can, and ice them down too. Both will help reduce swelling and inflammation.
