A friend told me he heard of a new clinic offering "Laughter Therapy" to benefit people with depression and to aid in healing of various diseases. He wants to try it and when he called they told him they use different techniques to produce the laughter, including tickling. Has anyone heard of this before? It sounds too weird to be true. Do you think they actually tickle people to make them feel better?

My reflexology treatment threw up ' kidney problems, liver problems, breast problems, pancreatic problems ( beginnings of diabetes ), malfunctioning thyroid, heart problems. I am disgustingly healthy as of now. Could my therapist be right? Or is reflexology just another alternative therapy which is not tried and tested enough to be reliable?

My doctor says that this drug will give almost natural sleep but I will become an addict and may require higher dosage in the long run. Can I have a different solution? I may not be able to do a lot of physical exercises, I have no other health problem except hypertension(blood pressure) which is under control by a different medicine . My stress level is just normal.

I really want to expand my mind, explore myself. I know that drugs are a good way to achieve this (Please dont comment on this, its just my opinion), but are there other good ways( i.e yoga, meditation) ? If so, please explain how to do it.

I have a horrible migraine, and I can't take any drugs because I'm doing a medical study soon, and my body has to be totally clean, (no caffine, either.) My head hurts so bad, right now, the daycare kids have been rough on my nerves, today! Help!

The natural answer is freeze...But burning is actually less painful, because you burn off your nerve cells in the first few minutes.

I'm currently taking Amlodipine 5 mg and Bisoprolol 2.5 mg and I'm putting on a lot of weight which is defeating the object, as the weight gain is exacerbating the blood pressure problem. These tablets are draining my energy, reducing my motivation and making me feel depressed. I'm also hungry all the time since being on them. There has to be an alternative which is safer as the side effects are frightening. The tabs gave me very severe headaches to begin with, which have gone now, and the blood pressure has reduced. Can anyone help, please? I do not want to risk having a stroke as my dad had one, so I need to get the BP under control safely and naturally. I am trying to reduce stress in my life and I'm not old, by the way!
