A chinese massage usually involves using the system of TUI-NA where a variety of techniques from traditional chinese medicine is used. Some of them are acupressure, moxibuston and cupping. Tui-na is often used in conjunction with food and exercise to promote true healing. A tui-na practitioner diagnoses the recipient by feling his pulse and uses the appropriate form of massge for the individual.

Chinese massage is great - I had one in China - and so cheap, that I felt guilty!
There are two types....
Chinese Tui Na massage (æ¨æ¿)
Tui Na is a form of Chinese massage (ææ©) that is similar to Zhi Ya, but focusing more on pushing, stretching and kneading the muscle.
[edit] Chinese Zhi Ya massage (æå£)
Zhi Ya is a form of Chinese massage based on acupressure. It is similar to Tui Na massage except it focuses more on pinching and pressing at acupressure points.

Be prepared to be bruised and experience pain in some muscles. It is a brilliant health massage, but not necessarily relaxing or destressing.
