In her book (The Schwarzbein Principle) she says that we should rotate our foods, obviously to get a wide range of nutrients, but also to avoid developing food allergies.

I have a medical prescription for massage therapy and it says "L/S spine pain".

What does the L/S mean? I googled for it and couldn't find an answer but did find it on some medical sites. I'm guessing "lumbar/sacral" but don't know that's really it. "Left/side"?

My doctor diagnosed me with mild depression about two years ago. Im not suicidal, and I dont hurt myself, except for when I take the medicine he prescribed. It actually made me feel worse. So I was wondering if saint johns wort would be a safe alternative to antidpressants. I quit taking the zoloft, and statred on the herb. I feel better, but is this a good idea. Any feedback would help. Thanks.

I just moved into this house the other day and I found a wonderful garden of passion flowers by my front door. I did a bit of research on the medicinal uses and lo and behold, I would benefit greately from it, having anxiety with tachycardia and IBS. I have an herbal tea strainer already but I have always bought already dried flowers.

What is the correct way to make herbal tea from fresh flowers? Do I dry them first or just pop them in the water and let them steep? With passion flowers, do I use just the flower? How do I dry them properly if I need to do so?

The super arthritis miracle drugs, Vioxx and Celebrex have been the target of liablity lawyers and Vioxx removed voluntarily by Merck. Many people are petitioning for the return saying they will monitor the risks to their hearts in exchange for being able to walk and move about pain free. Would you?

It seems my antibiotics are beginning to cause yeast infections. I am not willing to give up the antibiotics ( cystic acne) so I am wondering if I have even more Acidophilus, if it will help? I do eat a cup of plain yogurt everyday, I love it.

ive been sick since wed. night. Yesterday I tried a bunch of home remedies to cure my upset stomach but I think it made it worse. I have only vomited twice but am still in a lot of pain. I've restored to eating dry toasted whole wheat bread and 7 up and water and green tea. Is there anything else I can eat or drink to make me feel better? I have to work tomorrow from 9-4 and i've been there for only 5 months and dont want to call in sick if I can help it.
