It seems my antibiotics are beginning to cause yeast infections. I am not willing to give up the antibiotics ( cystic acne) so I am wondering if I have even more Acidophilus, if it will help? I do eat a cup of plain yogurt everyday, I love it.

You sure can. I have a problem with diarhea and yeast infections everytime I am put on antibiotics but when I started eating plain yogurt along with the acidophilus I stopped getting those.

There may be some side effects, and they are flatulence(gas) diarrhea,or dizziness or if you find any others report to your Doctor. Here is a website you may visit. What are the possible side effects of acidophilus?
Although uncommon, allergic reactions to acidophilus have been reported. Stop taking acidophilus and seek emergency medical attention if you experience symptoms of a serious allergic reaction including difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives.

Other less serious side effects have not been reported. Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or health care provider if you develop any side effects.

you can eat the yogurt and take the caps. Probiotics are a good thing. Have you ever considered food allergies as a cause of your acne? Mine cleared up when I avoided wheat, soy, eggs, and dairy. You might consider allergy testing
