It is an excellent way to learn guided meditation. Insight is another word for Mindfulness. Sharon also has an excellent book out called: "Loving-kindness: The Revolutionary Art of Happiness."
In addition, there is a most excellent book which teaches Mindfulness meditation, it costs $18.00, but is Now available for FREE to download, to learn from. It is one of my most favorite books, Click below:

Hi Meliss!
Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/Beginning_Meditation/
and to find a form of mediation that feels most comfortable. One common method includes repeating a sound or word, called a mantra. Other forms of meditation involve focusing on a visual image, such as the flame of a candle or a symbol. Other meditative techniques involve breathing and physical movements, such as yoga or other breathing practices.
No matter what the method, the tools used in meditation are there to help users reach a state of mental relaxation. Many mediation techniques help you clear your mind of the constant thoughts that normally run through the mind. In reducing or eliminating these thoughts, one can reach a state of deep thought that is associated with meditation.
It is sometimes very helpful to practice with others. Consider finding a meditation class at a nearby yoga studio or parks and recreation department. Practicing with like minded people and a good instructor can be very inspiring!

I've tried a bunch over the years.
My favourite ones are made by the Monroe Institute, their line is called 'Hemi Sync'.
They have a ton of different ones. Some are with verbal guidance, some are not.
