I was wondering this question, what causes us to sneeze? And can we do something to prevent sneezing other than holding it up, (I heard that was bad but who knows) because its embarrasing when everyone is quiet in the classroom then all of a sudden I sneeze. Thank you!

My daughter broke her elbow and has had at least 7 sets of x-rays in the last 5 weeks. A few times the lead apron slipped off of her pelvic area. How likely is it that she will develop any health problems or reproductive problems from the radiation? Also, she had 3 sets of x-rays done in one weeks time. Could she develop cancer from so many x-rays?

I'm trying to gain weight, and have a lot of trouble when I'm stressed out keeping my appetite up. So far the doctor has offered to prescribe a synthetic progesterone that they use for chemo patients and AIDS patients. I'd like to stay away from the chemicals if possible!

In other words, a person says, okay, I have time to either brush twice per day, or brush once and floss once or floss twice or whatever. Brushing twice and flossing once isn't an option - that would be three dental hygiene events - one too many. If it's going to be just TWO per day, what should the person do?

And my family wont let me visit her. I have been close to my aunty all of my life, and still am. But this year my family, especially my gran, have told me that I can't see her but wont give me a reason why.
I know that she has had Schizophrenia for about 11 years but over the past two years she has been slowly getting worse and now in hospital. I know a little bit about this illness as have done research to try and understand my aunty. But are people with it dangerous when they have these sudden episodes...? Is that why my family wont let me see her...?
Does anyone know anything about the dangers of schizophrenia, and is there a risk or people with it hurting someone else...? I just need to know because no one is telling me anything.
Thanks

My brother is in a terrible situation which is spiralling out of control. He needs help from someone with immense intelligence, diplomacy and not shy of some really awkward subjects. His story is true and incredible without the paranoia on top. He is also a single parent (daughter conceived whilst a mental health patient 'sectioned for his own safety' in a mixed ward, mother not allowed to keep daughter but he fought legally and won) and his paranoild illness causes extreme protection of his daughter which is often miscon strued by the services. He is 41yrs, a tall and loud man but only aggresive vocally. Can anyone help plse, he has a big team of official people involved in his life but no counselling or constructive help, we are concerned even if we could find the money for private help that he needs someone really skilled and interested in him back to his childhood. It would need to be long term help and would be a fantastic case study and a lot to be learnt for the authorities too.

i have been told i have a abnormally large penis. it is around 13in. i have had plenty of girls just get up and leave after seeing it. i have had sex with only one girl because of this. i have been thinking about a penis reduction for the longest time. this has become a curse in my life and not a gift as most guys believe. i was wondering if there is anyone that knows about these type of surgeries. i open to hearing success and horror stories. thanks for the help

I just had a triple bypass and am doing great--although the pain in my high chest and arms kills me when i try and do light activity---I dont know if i have overdone it or if that is just something that has to heal? feels like ive done about 1000 pullups or something--I started doing some light housework --;loading the dishwasher, laundry--stuff like that but nothing real strenuous.....if anyone has a similar experience to share and maybe give me some sort of idea about what is going on at this point in my recovery, im about 9 days out post op--thanks and have a great weekend!

I went to the doctor last week who put me on 10 days of Keflex for whatever bacterial infection I had to heal up (because she believed that the swollen lymph nodes in my groin were due to that -- most likely from shaving.) It has been one week and they are no longer painful, but still swollen. I have never had a problem with this before so I am scared that something is wrong. How long does it take for swollen lymph nodes to go down, usually? And is it likely that I have something else?

FYI -- I had sex six months ago with a man who said he's clean, we wore a condom almost the entire time. Should I be worried about HIV as well?

I am getting tested ASAP.

I just wanted to know everyone's experience with this...
