I have a severe case of IBS. I have tried to work jobs before to to no avail. I either had to work through the pain for one day and miss the rest of the week or just quit because of the pain. I can barely leave the house... well the bathroom. Upon that I have poor circulation so I cannot stand for more than about an hour without pain in my feet.

My daughter (who is only 35) is coming up on her 36th birthday soon. She was diagnosed with rectal cancer recently and begins her treatments only 4 days before her birthday. Does anyone have any suggestions for something "special" for this years birthday? I don't want to go "over the top" and draw unnecessary attention to that day... I know she doesn't want it to be any different than any other birthday that she's had... but since it IS different this year... and because she is experiencing something that possibly some of you out there have... does anyone have any suggestions for gifts that a cancer patient could use or would appreciate? Or anything else special??? She loves to garden, and other years I usually got her something related to that, or a gift certificate to a nursery... this year is different.

She tells me that while undergoing treatment she can take only bathes for 5 weeks... so I was thinking along the line of bath products... anyone have any other suggestions?

Im only 15 and i have had a loss in energy lately and i dont know why. i have had gymnastics tuesdays and thursdays for about 2 months. i have been running on the treadmill mondays, wednesdays, saturdays, and sundays for the past week and a half. and i eat breakfast, salad for lunch, and dinner, and i watch my calories! because im trying to loose weight. so why am i so tired all the time? and what can i do to get more energy?

what can i do for the extremely dry uterus sometimes bleeds. is there any thing i can use or take without taking Harmon's. i have a very high risk of cancer and am scaired to go that route. had hysterectomy and ovaries 2 years ago.

I have tonsillitis, and it infected my inner ear, and ruptured my eardrum, but it seems manageable now. I'm taking a natural antibiotic, aspirin, C, and zinc. And watching what I eat and resting. Is this as serious as some friends say? I don't have any money or health insurance.
I'm not in pain right now, but I lost four hours sleep last night to excruciating pain in my ear before it re-ruptured and drained.

I thought yogurt was good...I've been eating the fatfree kind regularly. I was just informed it has high fructose syrup in it. That even sounds gross. Can someone give me a sample diet plan for weight loss? I am desperate. I run regularly and walk everyday. I do lunges, squats & wall sits every other day. Chocolate is my weakness. Nothing ever works for me!

Well I have had this for quite some time now (going on 5 months) and am about to start physical therapy, but i was wondering if anyone out there might have any good ideas or has been through it before and could give me some helpful advice. My doc says it is a long healing process so the most trouble I am having is being patient because I love to run and ride my bicycle and can not do that at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated, I'll keep ya updated with my condition and how things are going. Thanks for being out there.

my father had depression when he was living. he recently passed away and that is hurting me. My grandmother has depression and so does my stepbrother. I think about death alot and suicide. I had problems since the 5th grade. I would cry in class and feel down. I feel like the walls are falling on me. I'm failing all my class, my landlord is trying to sell my home so I have to move again and I feel like I'm going to lose it. I don't know what to do? or to even get help should I just live like this?

My bf just broke up with me a few days ago and now i dont have a appetite for anything. I am underweight already ( 5'2 at 94 lbs. ) and i am afraid that i would lose even more.
