First thing I want to say is PROTECTED sex does NOT prevent someone from getting herpes. People keep saying "protected sex will keep a person from contracting herpes". This is NOT true.

These are the most common ways herpes (cold sores and genital herpes) are spread:

1. Having sex with someone who has the virus (vaginal sex, oral sex, or anal sex)

2. DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area of a person who has them

3. Kissing someone who has cold sores (sharing chap stick, lip stick, drinks, cigarrettes and basically anything a person with cold sores has had their lips on can spread cold sores too)

4. Being born with the virus

Remember genital herpes can be spread even if the guy is wearing a condom. Condoms are NOT 100% effective in preventing STDs. Genital herpes can be spread by just direct skin to skin contact. So, even if the guy is wearing a condom it is NOT covering his whole genital area, it is only covering his penis. The skin rubbing back and forth of the genital area during sex is enough to spread the virus! Also, herpes can be spread even when there are no sores present. A person can be "shedding". Shedding is when a person is able to spread herpes but is showing no signs or symptoms of the virus (like sores).

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about 6 years back, when I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I realize a lot of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/kxwKu everything changed.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Ok, contray to popular belief, condom do little if anything to prevent the spread of herpes. Because its skin to skin contact that spreads it and a mans testicles can have a herpe outbreak and a condom does not cover those.

You can also get herpes on your genitals if your spouse has a cold sore. The two strands can mix. So be careful or abstain.

theres a few ways. and a few types. oral sex can cause herpes, usally the ones you get that way are on or in your mouth and commonly called coldsores, then there is sex, even when using a condom you still could get herpes, chances are lower but because herpes is passed skin to skin but, you still could get it..but dont worrie that doesnt mean that if someone who has herpes grabs your hand your going to get it ..its not like that skin to skin contact,

Well, I got them when my ex-boyfriend went down on me & he had a cold sore. I was in pain for 2 weeks straight, to the point where I couldn't do anything and Vicodin didn't help :(
