Health - 19 February 2007

Within the past week I have noticed a large 'ball', on the upper portion of my armpit. It is very painful and does not seem to get any smaller. I've irritated it and can grab it and pull it away - so it doesn't seem to be attatched to anything. Could this simply be a lymph node that is tacking FOREVER to shrink or could this be a cancerous mass?

when u experience a milky white discharge ( it is thick) after ovualtion and before the time ur suppose to get ur period, does that definatly mean ur not pregnant ? or have any of you had it and was pregnant ?

I am 24 years old and have been breaking out in hives for over a month. I havent changed any soaps, lotions, or anything. I just woke up one day with them! They come sporadically and at no specific time. They are pretty large in size and are very itchy. I have been to my primary who did a blood test and found nothing. I have an appointment with an allergist and dermatologist very soon. If anyone has any idea what could be the cause or how I can ease the hives and itching, please let me know! There is nothing worse than itching all day!

Note*** I DO NOT have AIDS or any other STD's! I go to my doctor and get tested frequently!

are there any ingriedients that u can substitute with light or fat free ones when making cookies. i know that they say to avoid cookies becasue they are high in calories, but it wouldnt hurt to make them with less calories if im goin to eat them anyway. Any suggestions?

The chicken breast recall is the fourth food recall in a week. Fresh cantaloupe and selected jars of organic baby food were recalled late Friday, and a major recall of peanut butter was initiated late Wednesday after 300 people in 39 states were sickened.


With the cantaloupes and peanut butter, the culprit was salmonella. The baby food was contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, which can cause botulism. Both are life-threatening illnesses.

And the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned consumers late Friday not to use certain jars of Earth's Best Organic 2 Apple Peach Barley Wholesome Breakfast baby food because they may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum,, a life-threatening illness.

we knew that grey tube is used for glucose test, but why SST tube can be used for glucose as well ? the former with anticoagulant, the later without it, so big different? I am studying lab test in school, got confused. thank you for your help.

THE STORY IS MY GIRLFRIEND OF 3 YEARS HAS JUST SPLIT WITH ME SHE TOLD ME WE NEEDED SOMETIME APART AND SHE HOPED WE COULD SORT THINGS OUT IN THE FUTURE. THEN I HEAR SHE IS SEEING SOMEONE ELSE. When i was younger, i used to swim A LOT, so my arms were pretty muscular and toned. now that i've stopped swimming the muscle is turning to fat and is making my arms look flabby and thick and fat. how do i lose the fat in my arms and have toned arms. What kind of exercises should i do? thanks

I have been having slight discomfort in my lower back and also towards my appendix area. I can feel two lumps in my urethrea, believe they might be stones trying to pass but they have been sitting there for a week now. At times a stitch when I pass water but not regularly. Any ideas/suggestions?
