I have just started wearing one-day disposable contacts. I find that I am constantly aware of them. They are not painful, but I find I am just that..aware of them! Its ok when I am outdoors, but inside (ie heated rooms) my eyes get a bit sticky.

At the moment I'm just not sure if I want to go down the contact route. I'm sure I will get used to it but will I just learn not to notice them or will I just learn to ignore it?

Toddler ran into cupboard.
Done cold compress & blood mopping.
Lump of skin on forehead hanging on by a thread. Do I try to keep this lump of skin hanging on? Stick it back on cut? 5mm deep.
Stick dressing on or not? Have put arnica on egg bump.

I'm 20 years old, I'm male, I've been suffering from chronic pain for six years of my life... please help.

Symptoms: What "feels" like polyneuropathy, chronic pain; everywhere (muscles, bones, tendons, everywhere). The pain is [more] concentrated in my hands and feet than it is in, say, on or in my head. The pain is ALWAYS worse when lying down, and always worse with topical application of heat.

Curiously, the pain was deactivated" after smoking marijuana for the first and only time; however, the marijuana was [likely] laced because I had a "very bad" trip. The pain was gone for two years until... I tried prozac, which reactivated the pain to its prior acuity.

Here's what possibly caused this pain: 1.I wore a pair of uncomfortable shoes for a year; 2. I worked at Mcdonald's restocking (heavy lifting); 3. played a brutal game of bloody knuckles; 4. was on about 12 different antidepressants before pain (not congruently).

I've been having a congestion/cold I can't get rid of. Antibiotics don't work. I don't have a fever or body aches, just incessant congestion and sometimes coughing. I have two cats that I've had for a few years now. I just got this cold about a month ago. The congestion doesn't seem to fade much when I leave the house for a few hours, etc. Could this be my cats?

i am taking lemsip max capsules every 4 hours, and resting. i have strepsils for my throat but i feel awful, my sleep is disturbed and i have a pounding headache and no energy.

I'm trying hard to lose about 25 pounds and I've kind of reached a plateau after a month and a half.( I've lost about 7 lbs) I do the same workouts daily, still break a sweat, but I wonder if I need to change it up a bit to lose more weight? I try to eat right most of the time.
Please tell me if this sounds reasonable.
Breakfast- slimfast shake and a banana
Snack- orange
lunch- bowl of soup and cucumber slices
snack-yogurt and carrots
supper-chicken with brown rice and veggies
snack-baked tortillas with salsa and apple

If it helps, I'm 26 yrs old and 144 lbs.

What do these percentages mean in real numbers. For example..what is 13% of the U.S. population. How large is the U.S. population?

FYI:
Seventy-two African Americans are infected with HIV every day.
African Americans accounted for 55 percent of deaths due to HIV in 2002
Nearly 70 percent of women with AIDS are Black. In 2004, the rate of diagnoses for Black women was 23 times the rate for White women.
