I'm 20 years old, I'm male, I've been suffering from chronic pain for six years of my life... please help.

Symptoms: What "feels" like polyneuropathy, chronic pain; everywhere (muscles, bones, tendons, everywhere). The pain is [more] concentrated in my hands and feet than it is in, say, on or in my head. The pain is ALWAYS worse when lying down, and always worse with topical application of heat.

Curiously, the pain was deactivated" after smoking marijuana for the first and only time; however, the marijuana was [likely] laced because I had a "very bad" trip. The pain was gone for two years until... I tried prozac, which reactivated the pain to its prior acuity.

Here's what possibly caused this pain: 1.I wore a pair of uncomfortable shoes for a year; 2. I worked at Mcdonald's restocking (heavy lifting); 3. played a brutal game of bloody knuckles; 4. was on about 12 different antidepressants before pain (not congruently).

Thank you,
Av

I should also mention that the number of muscle spams (twitches) have increased twenty-fold; whereas I'd get get them once a day, I know have about twenty (usually 30 seconds each) a day.

The Mcdonald's work was called "Brower hour", which took place about 10 or 15 times, involved heavy lifting and very intense physical activity. After that, it appears the pain possibly appeared (chronologically speaking). The game of bloody knuckles lasted an hour, and left me with a set of very bloodied knuckles, from all the intensive hitting on them. Lastly, the pair of shoes were tight, too tight that they cut off circulation.

I don't know why smoking laced marijuana made it go away for a year and a half, but it did...

As to why I haven't applied cold, it's just too inconvenient right now (it's wintertime, so I can just go outside instead of topically applying cold packs).

Thanks,

Av

You need real medical help to figure out the cause of your pain, it may be orthopedic, it may be psychological or physicological. No one here is going to be able to give you the answer you need.

If the pain is increasing with heat then you should have tried application of cold, write me about that experience.
Also tell whether you have tried acupuncture or not.
