Hi. I quit vicodin for 8 months, and now I think I am starting to become addicted again. I was taking 9 pills a day at one point, but I was able to quit. I was offered a vicodin last week by my girlfriend for a headache. She doesn't know that I was addicted to them. I accepted her offer, and now I want more. I actually have went a couple days without them, but I have also had days where I have taken them. The cravings are coming back now. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how to cope with the guilt I am feeling? Is there a way to ease the withdrawals I am having right now? I know that as long as I can go without the vicodin, the withdrawals will get easier, but is there anything that will help with the temptation and withdrawals NOW?

Do these signs add up to crackhead? We had to have gym in the classroom. And we were taking turns reading from a packet about badmiton aloud. She called on someone to read. She fell asleep. And the class started laughing at her. Kids tell her "I can't understand you. You have to much crack up your nose." One girl told her to "shut the f*** talking to me you crackhead b****." She walks around the class snorting sometimes. She has dark circles under her eyes. Everyday she kicks kids out of the room. When she takes attendence, she pronouceses the last name Spark as "Sparkle". And the last name freund as "friend". She mumbles when she talks sometimes and keeps tougne tied a lot. She is not old. And the first day she came to our school, a girl took one look at her and yelled out very loudly to the teacher "You smoke crack!"

My son is 16 and has a hip which cannot be repaired due to total slippage of the femural head. Some time between now and 15 years from now he will need a total hip replacement. It all depends on when his hip becomes painful.

If you have any personal experience please can you tell me what kind of replacement hip you had, nylon/steel, steel/steel, ceramic/steel or ceramic/ceramic. How long has it lasted since the operation, has it given you any problems and how old were you when the replacement was made.

I have read that nylon/steel are easiest to fit without complications but last up to 15 years and that ceramic/ceramic can potentially last a lifetime but are prone to fracture and have no long term testing statistics.

I would particularly be interested in a reply from anyone who has had a ceramic hip fitted long ago.

I don't have a weight problem or image issues, it's just that eating doesn't satisfy me anymore. I used to have fun getting a soda or ice cream or fast food. It was a treat and it wasn't available that much to me a few years ago. Now after I eat it, it's like.. why did I eat an unhealthy food? No point.. and it doesn't make me feel good. It's not because of gaining weight or anything.. it's just because.. It doesn't make me happy.

PS. I'm 13. So you probably think it's dumb.

I have bipolar. I am not yet on meds because after getting diagnosed I had to wait to see a doc to get put on meds. That will happen tommorrow. I got upset over a friend of my husbands being mean to me two days ago. I am still upset and upset at my husband because he never understands my feelings.
This morning I asked him a question and he ignored me so I continued to ask. He turned on the radio and put headphones on to drown me out. I leaned across to turn it down and he shoved me. I slapped him, he slapped me back this went on for a while and then, He wrestled me to the bed pinned me down and ordered me to calm down. I just got more angry and so he got off me and called the police to have me committed. The police didn't commit me but I am so mad at my husband for this. I feel betrayed. He never helps me just makes me worse.
He should be coming to see the doc tommorrow but I don't want him to now cause I don't trust him. Is this typical bipolar I behaviour? No cruel answers please

I am getting Braces soon and was wondering if afterward if I will need a retainer. Typically, do people get retainers after they get their braces taken off? I already had a retainer before braces for about 6 years.

I have an employee was is mostly allergic to cigarette smoke. No one smokes in our office, but someone walks by her several times a day who smokes outside. I wanted to get her an air purifier, but I'm told that they don't assist in lessening this kind of smell. Does anyone know of an air purifier that may help?

It started 2 weeks ago, with a sudden lump in my wrist, then slowly progressed through my vein, into the palm of my hand, at the base of my thumb. As it progressed, it would cause my vein to be larger and harder. Now it has moved back into my wrist, but not in the exact same spot as it was before. The veins around the base of my thumb are all a bit larger than normal. It is not painful, although if I bump it hurts.

The doctor rushed in and out of the room so fast when I went last week, and told me to come back for a checkup since they need to do another EKG anyway since I've been having palpitations for a year now. He barely looked at it and said it may be a gangleon cyst, but my sister gets those and it is nothing like that. It is smooshy and goes for about an inch in my vein. The thickness is about the size of a pencil.

Getting to the doctor is hard for me and I don't know when I can make it back, so I am hoping some of you can lead me in the right direction. Thanks!!
