I've been taking Gleevec 400 mg. since 03-01-06, have all the side effects and am almost bauld on top of my head. I think I look like I'm alot older than I am since I've been taking Gleevec. I have a brother that is a match if I ever need to have a bone marrow transplant (which I hope I don't) and most of my family doesn't care if I'm sick at all. I catch every bug around and colds easily, I wear a mask as much as I can to help prevent this. My step son and his wife just can't get it in their head that I can't babysit when their kids are sick, to them they're not sick but when they get to my house they are coughing and have a runny nose and I have it a couple of days after being around the kids. I think I'm gonna start telling them I can babysit if they give me enough money for a dr. visit and perscriptions 'cause I always end up at the dr. office after being around their kids. Is that being mean of me? Does anyone understand where I'm coming from?

Why would my husband's thyroid bloodwork come back with zero TSH and high Free T-4, and then when a scan was done (after an iodine pill was taken 24 hours before), the thyroid did NOT show up??? Wouldn't the bloodwork indicate an overactive thyroid? Why would it not show on the scan. My husband's neck has been sore for a month, and he has been running a fever, off and on, for three weeks. Can anyone give us any information before we see the doctor next week?

So, do you think abortion is killing a baby? Why? Or is abortion ok until a certain time of being pregnant because the baby isn't developed yet? Is it only ok to abort because of a rape or incest?

Ok, after answering that..... what do you think about this situation: baby with two heads:
This baby was born wth two heads. ('m watching now on discovery health channel.) The baby's extra head has a partal body. It has a spine, ribs, and distinct personality seperate from the baby. (see the picture: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6998205/... ) and this "parasite" has a fully functioning brain, emotions, and reflexes. They are connected at the head. Is this parasite alive? Yes, but is it wrong to kill it? It has no organs, but has a functional brain..... hmmmm. Tough one. So, what's you're oppinion about abortion contribute to this situation? This extra head has an ACTUAL brain and functions and emotions. Is this wrong to kill it?
