Health - 27 October 2006

I was wondering what these were because when I had hamsters and gerbils I never got these itchy little bumps on the back of my hand. Now I got some rats and they've been coming up after every time I've played with them. Only last night the bumps were on my right hand. Now they're gone and tonight after I held them they were on my left. I don't know what I can do to stop this or what it even is so I want your help.

Drugs? What do you mean by 'drugs'? We have drug users. We have drug addicts. We have a war on drugs. We put drug users in prisons where they can easily get more drugs. Alcohol is a drug, oh yes it is, and I repeat alcohol is a drug and a dangerous one. We have drug stores on the corners selling drugs over the counter. We have huge multi-billion dollar drug companies not only selling us drugs but telling us every day that we need more drugs. And we oblige. We consume prescription and non-prescription drugs in vast vast quantities. We have drugs for headaches, stress, and for losing weight. We have drugs to help you sleep, we have drugs to wake you up. We have drugs for just about every conceivable problem from serious conditions to very minor annoyances. And we're inventing new ones all the time.

I recommend banning the use of the word 'drugs' until we can solve this rather peculiar riddle. A large part of this huge problem lies in our misuse of the language itself.

I tried gravity boots but they hurt my feet and I can't stop myself from swinging about the friggin place. Sit ups are too lame and easy to do and i broke my moms ironing board strapping myself to that and putting it up against the sofa. The equipment at the gym sucks and I can't afford the fees all I need is something cheap simple and easy that I can put away for upper body exersizes. anyway I'd love suggestions and links and will give a best answer to something affordable. Pain (not sharp) to Numb sensation to No sensation on hands and feet. It doesn't necessary go in that order, but it is long lasting. Sometimes the pain is in the arms and legs too, but it's generally not numb.

every month when I get my period the 1st day is SO painful, I can't do nothin' but lay in bed all day long. read these symptoms and tell me if you know what could be wrong or had similar experience? (if ur just gonna say go to doc, then don't even bother responding....thanks

- lower abdomen bloated, swollen about 3-4 inches bigger than normal.

- sharp, painful cramps

- diarherra, nausea

- no appatite (I don't eat the whole 1st day, just drink water, oj)

- sweaty, clammy forward, hot body temp. followed by freezing cold feeling

- feeling like I'm gonna pass out cuz period flow so heavy; numbness in thighs

- tired and sleepy. I sleep for like 6 hours. then feel a lil better

I am:

boderline diabetic (no meds)

high blood pressure (one pill per day)

I suddenly had a painfull and inflammed elbow. I had been doing a lot of lifting and carrying, renovating a house,went to boots and showed the pharmasist but had already brought ibuprofen as I know is an antiinflammatory,he suggested the same. Its cleared up now but I understand from reading information on the net it can come back,any suggestions thanks.

Hello I have been considering using Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% gel for my acne. I wondered does anyone have any comments as to this product working and also if I should start on a higher % as my acne is getting very bad. I have painful cysts and spots that are full of gunk! Also is it ok to use in pregnancy this stuff??? Any help gladly appreciated. Thanks to all helpers here!
