I had a grade 3 astrocytoma brain tumor and underwent a seven hour craniotomy with motor mapping at UCSF. I had external beam radiation and six rounds of BCNU chemotherapy treatments, via an IV. Rounds1-3 were not that bad. Rounds 4-6 were horrible. I puked, dry heaved nothing but spit and air, slept a lot, ate nothing that i could keep in my stomach for more than an hour or so. Even when i drank water after an infusion, I would puke it up. My teeth looked like hell and i got sores on the edges and insides of my mouth.

But I survived it and am six years cancer free.

Is it normal to dream of spoons in a sexual manner?
like when i have dreams of spoons often the spoon kisses me on the chin and my nose tingles.
and wen i wake up i hear the quacks of a duck and my nose hurts.
what do u think?

Recently went to the hospital for heat exhaustion/dehydration. My body was shutting down - passing out, cramping up, sick to my stomach. Now that it's all over I'm still very nervous and scared... I don't want that to ever happen again. How can I avoid dehydration in the future? (What worries me too is that I was drinking lots of water the day it happened!)

don't get me wrong, i am curently looking into ways to kick the habit after many years of self damage to myself from them. but why do the same people want to complain that others force religion or politics at them and don't like that. we know what we are doing to ourselves as smokers...but that is our choice. i do respect others before i light up..even when i am outdoors i will make sure that i am not going to bother anyone...how does that make me have no rights? and how does that justify the rudeness that we suffer from non-smokers?

My dry socket started a week ago tonight. I've had it packed 4 times now. Just wondering if any one else has had to deal with this. It hurts like crazy once the pain meds goes away. I'm pretty much living on Tylenol, and I'm not big on taking medicine. I was also wondering if since it has been a week if there could be something else going on? If so what, and what should i look for?

I'm 17, I weigh 170, I been seriously lifting since January, I max bench at 225, curl 110, leg press 460, and shrug rep 230 shrugs(smith machine), miltary press 115, Is this good?, I go to a gym at a church, which is mainly comprosed of old people, so I really don't have anything to compare myself to.
