Or can you lose weight and not have it anymore? Please explain cause i'm kinda confused. I've always thought that you became a diabetic you were for life? Or am i wrong?

Ive seen some web sites that are really putting down soy protein supplements saying that it can be really bad for the body, somehow it doesnt proccess it or something, then I got thinking is it a ploy by meat industry? What do you think?

As i've stated before on these boards, im a shy and naturally quiet person. This weekend i will be going to a theme park with a bunch of people i either don't know very well, or don't know at all. The thought of this sounds both terrifying and fantastic. This is actually a big step for me.

Does anyone have (real) advice for me so i can help build my confidence and maybe get some guts? Help will be much appreciated!

First bush lies about the number of embryonic stem cell lines that are created

Bush claimed 60, out of those 60 less than 23 actually exist or will exist.

Now a bill comes forward to all people who have extra embryos made to donate them to research only if they want to. Why is bush taking the anti-life position that these embryos should be thrown in the trash instead of using them for science?

ok i have a drug test coming up and it is the hiar test and i went to the doctor about two months ago and he had to give me shot but im very afriad of needles so he gave me a valium will that show up on my drug test i dont want to have to go back to him to get a slip of paper saying he gave that to me this is not a joke either im serious hes is not my normal doctor so it is almost impossible for me to get ahold of him p.s.(ER)doc

I am a 23 year old student with depression and anxiety disorder. My question is is it normal to surf the internet for long periods of time? Whenever I intend to check my email or work on an assignment, I end up looking at websites for hours at a time and I barely notice that time has passed. I read news articles, blogs, wikipedia, yahoo answers, internet movie database, youtube, and just about everything else. Everytime I tell myself I am about to quit, I tell myself "just one more link." I don't know why I fill my head with all of this useless, random trivia (what were the oscar nominations in 2003, who were nancy drew ghost writers, the average age of marriage in the US vs other countries, famous left handed people, movies with talking animals, list of song titles that are also movies, etc) because I only forget it an hour later. I miss sleep & neglect responsibilities because of this. Does anyone have a sugestion of how to quit surfing w/o giving up my pc(I need it for school work).

Everytime I try to tell my Mom i'm depressed she says it's just because I was on my period or because i'm a teen. But it's not that. I am so sad thinkingg life has no meaning and its hopeless and all that stuff. She also said if she ever finds depression stuff on my computer again, i'll be in a lot of trouble. I was diagnosed with a genetic condition called Marfan Syndrome about 6 years ago. I know all about it but not many people do. I was just wondering how many people out there know about the condition. Even some doctors I have been to have never seen anyone with it. I am just curious I guess!

I am a 29-year-old female. I have a history of panic and anxiety disorders. I have had a couple of episodes of SVT which sent me to the hospital in the past 3 years. I have had what I suppose are PACs or PVCs since the anxiety disorders started and have been taking atenolol for the past year for them and the rapid heart rate. It's worked well, but in the past couple of weeks I have been under a lot of stress and the palpiations have come back. I went to the doctor today and had an EKG done. The doctor came in and said that my EKG wasn't completely normal because there were some inverted t-waves along with the normal rhythm. What can this mean?

a couple hrs after i got on my braces, they started 2 hurt. a few hrs after that it started 2 hurt more. i took tylenol and its not doing anything. dont have advil. is there anything else i can do 2 ease the pain? and is it normal 2 not be able 2 chew anything? cuz i cant chew anything since all my teeth hurt. how many days will it be till the pain goes away? Please help!!
