Do you mean auto-immune? You may be referring to Lupus. If so, there are many good answers in the previously asked questions source. try that first. Hope it helps!

auto-immune diseases can mean a number of things. some directly attack white blood cells, while others 'trick' your white blood cells to attack your own body. an example of each is AIDS for the direct, and rhuematoid arthritis for the other. most auto-immune problems have no cure. The best you can hope for with your situation is either to get a liver transplant or remove badly damaged intestines. i am sorry you have this problem.

There are a lot of autoimmune diseases. They are a class of diseases that are caused by your immune system working haywire and attacking YOU instead of something like a virus or bacteria. Sort of like being allergic to yourself. They are usually treated with immunosuppressive drugs like prednisone.
