I am trying to lose weight (15 pounds). I am eat a low calorie diet and using the stider for one mile a jogging one mile and walking at a fast pace for one mile. I am not weight training for the fact that I want to only lose weight! Is it possible to achieve my goal? How long do you think it will take? REMEMBER: SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!

My friend might have been pregnant then had a miscarriage?

Ok my friend is 16. She is on birth control when she can get her period once every 4 months cuz she has a thyroid problem. anyways she was in the shower one day and it wasn';t her period & all blood & stuff came out and she thinkss she was pregnant but then had a miscarriage. did she? or was this something else. shes too scared to talk to her mom and i have no idea what to do...lol.

Weird question: Can doctors prescribe themselves their own medications? Or their immediate family members?

I just thought of this....wondered if there was some policy in the Hippocratic Oath they take? I could see that there would be some possibility of abuse of this, espeicially for controlled drugs or highly addictive drugs (i.e. oxy-contin or valium).

Alcoholism & cooking with wine, etc.?

Stomach Pains?

I got SO sick last Thursday (vomiting, etc). I thought it might have been food poisoning... but there is really no way to be sure.

I was sick all day Friday, felt a little better Saturday (but couldn't eat), and am gradually starting to feel better, but cannot seem to kick the stomach pains.

I have tried to not eat things that would irritate it (ex: greasy foods), and have taken tums, but it seems like my stomach churns with everything I eat, leaving me with no appetite.

Any suggestions to stop the stomach pains?
