Its itchy, not all the time, but you may get a really bad itch all of a sudden and then it will go away. You will become very sore down below. You need to try not to scratch it.
Do not use any of those stupid itchy creams they show on the tv for "instant relief" they are not good for you. Go to the doctor who will give you some medication and start washing youself with emulsifying oinment that you can get from the chemist, its real cheap....its a soap subsitute that wont irritate you while the thrush clears up.
You dont have to have spots to have thrush!
It may not even be thrush, if its not that itchy, but you have a lot of discharge, you may have BV which is another type of infection, cleared up with tablets from your doctor.
In the meantime dont use soap in the area. But def see a doctor

Your Vagina gets very itchy hot and sore, it may become swollen. It can get very very sore and you may find it hard to sit down. Washing it to keep it clean can help.

If you think you have thrush, then its best to go to the nurse. She may give you some pessaries which you have to use, which calms down the swollen vagina and stops it being itchy.

You can also have Thrush and have no obvious symptoms at all, but it would show up in a smear test.
