Health - 2 July 2006

We took my boyfriend to the hospital on Friday and he was diagnosed w/ a kidney stone. 2-3mm. He's having another attack right now... and he's in the bathroom throwing up and won't listen to any advice i'm trying to give him currently. Hm. I'm asking him to just drink a lot of water or apply a heating pad, but he says he's too sick. I know he's in a lot of pain... he usually doesn't show it.
Um. What are some warning signs that I should take him into the ER again? Also, he's already on perscription pain meds for this... but it doesn't seem to help. Any advice on some more home remedies?

i have vaginal fungal infection due to type 1 diabetes. when had diagnosed od diabetes i had severe ithing?

then doctors told me its a fungal vaginal infection due to diabtes and alteration of pH. doctor gave me anti fungal cream and said whenver you have vaginal infectin use this because it occurs through out the life. and now i have severe vaginal infection and i use antifungal cream . is this right

how do you get in shape after giving birth?

i'm 8 months pregnant... and the closer i get to the actual due date the more i get nervous about how to loose all the weight that i've gained..... plus it doesn't help that i keep gaining.

Anyone know anything about water around the heart?

My sister just recently developed a condition in which water is collected around the heart...casuing her to not breathe very well...initially doctor thought it was heart burn or acid reflux related...but after many check-up she ended-up in the ER and they had to drain water from affected areas of her body...her legs, back and so forth...after about 10 to 20 blood samples doctors still don't know what is the cause...she is released from hospital but her conditon may return at any time...if anyhow knows anything about such please let me know...any info is helpful...thanks pete!

How do i take control of my anger? I get angry quickly and am like a wild bull set lose when angry.?

Though the anger lasts naximum 5 min but it desroys much. only 2 weeks back i almost killed a man because his phone was not on silent in the movie hall and it was irritating me. He was admitted to the ICU and i was arrested but was released on bail with a warning and this is not the first incident. Please tell me how do i control my anger????

Does anyone know if costume contact lenses can cause any damage to your vision or not?

I've heard different answers to that question based on which which web site the person asked is representing. I'd like to hear from an optometrist, costume dealer, or someone who has had first hand experience with costume lenses.

Is it weird to eat your toenails?

I've been lacking calcium in my diet and I know that toenails are mostly calcium. I asked my doctor what he thought but I'm not sure he speaks English very well. I know it's pretty unconventional but I think my toenails are a good source for wasted minerals.

Any ideas?

do you believe in internal combustion?

well i've heard people talk about internal combustion and i just didn't sound true, one moment a person is walking on the street or driving a car then the next they are exploding. do these exploding people burst and flesh flies all over the show or they just pop and go up in flames? thats what makes it hard to believe...
What causes this internal combustion, why aren't there any symptoms of the this and does it have an age range?

Running AM or PM?

Do you think it would be better to get up early (and miss out on an extra 45 minutes of sleep) and run/cardio workout, then go to work (12 hour shifts) or get up and get ready for work, then run/cardio workout right before going to bed?
