The first six weeks after having a baby it is advised to not excercise or lift anything heavier then the baby. But during that time, you should lose most of that weight. But what I did was I slowly got into pilates for about a month, and then started with aerobics. Nothing will help you lose weight faster then doing at least 30 minutes of aerobics most days of the week. Most of the weight you did gain is water, and that will go away almost immediately after giving birth.

It is my p[leasure to answer your question.I have 2 kids. One 3 years old and a 4 month old baby.I lost the fat from both pregnancys in about two months after I had the baby on the blood type diet.(dr.DADAMO) take a look at it in the net or just buy the book.
I am actually thinner than before i got pregnant with my second baby and very close to fit in the clothes I worn before I had kids .
good luck!!!

You need to cut your calories back by 500 a day. Cut out all sweet and fatty foods. Eat properly having several very small meals each day. You also need to do some fast walking or running to burn fat. You should also join a gym to tone up all of your muscles and do lots of ab exercises like crunches, knee-ins, side bends, etc... And remember you strongest ally is your "willpower". If you really want something you can get there!!!

eat healthily now cuz the last month is when all tyhe food you eat turns straight to fat! (ive had 2 kids i know what im talking about). also once the baby comes you wont get much time to exercise for the firsat month or so so just snack throughout the day to keep your metabolism up. and in any case, enjoy your new baby! dont let selfconsciousness ruin the first precious weeks!! good luck! and RELAX!
