I had an accident a few years ago and tore up my knee which caused me to limp badly, resulting in messing up my back (or so the Chiro said).
I was prescribed 60+ mg of Hydrocodone daily (but I took well over 100 mg) and have since quit taking it (one of the hardest things I've done!). I have moved to a small town in OK and the docs here won't prescribe pain meds except for right after surgery. So, I had to quit.
Is there anything at all I can take over the counter that will help my pain? I've tried Tylenol and Advil but I'm gonna destroy my liver at this rate and still not get rid of the pain.
I have a bulging disc in my back, less than 1/2 the cartilage in my knee and something wrong with my neck.
Help?
Thanks!

The X-ray shows heavy infection. It is combined with allergy for pollens and constant headache. I would like to avoid antibiotics. Any suggestions are welcomed?

I just had a baby 3 months ago (ignore picture - I'm using hubby's Yahoo account). Anyway, ever since then, I've been very short of breath and even have my hands / feet go numb, especially after meals. My blood pressure is normal, but sometimes it seems like my heart skips a beat.

A friend of mine recommended that I take OTC diuretics until my next doctor's appointment. She said it could be pulmonary edema caused by hormones getting back to normal. Has anyone heard of this? Do the diuretics work?

I just started taking them this morning, and they're actually helping me breathe!

The doctor has told my husband to lose weight but i can not get him to work out and try to lose it. I ask him to walk or ride bikes with me and i get the same answer all the time, "i'm tired right now". He also uses the complaint that he has bad knees. I know he has knee probles but i would think working out and losing weight would help that also. Please help me find a way to get him to work out with me.
